His eyebrows buried together in confusion as he watched Nova pick through the bread. “I’d stare at you the same way, Nov. You wasted a good burger.” Isaiah’s mom was also a vegetarian and as a result refused to have meat in the house. Once he moved out, he had went against everything he was taught just to have a burger. Now, sitting here watching her, brought back memories.

Nova’s brown hues made contact with his while her lips lifted into a small taunting smile. “Are you judging me? You? Of all people? I expected more.” She playfully shook her head in disappointment before breaking off a piece of the bread and popping it into her mouth.

“I ordered a cheese burger from McDonalds - without the meat, and I got the weirdest stares.” Nova picked through the meatless burger in her hands and let off a small shrug. “You’d think they'd be staring because of the cameras but nope, it was my vegetarian ways. They banned me with their eyes, I just know it.”

Laughter spilled from his lips at the sight of his sibling, “That’s fine, you’ll thank me later, spicing up the camera footage of you.” 

Before Nova could say anything else, she heard a muffled POP! escape from underneath her slim frame. She turned to look at her brother with a shocked expression on her face before jumping off. An assortment of chips began falling after her, landing on the floor one by one. “Now look what you did. Help me clean this up!”

“ the pink just looks, like… way too childish, right ? ” celise inquires, her neatly plucked eyebrows furrowing in incongruity as she wrinkles her nose. her oceanic hues peer most intently at her reflection in the mirror – or rather, the baby pink silk dress she dons, and heaving a sigh, her tawny, manicured fingers smooth down the sides that mold to her slender physique. “ and it just erases any kind of curves i might have. ” her swollen, lesser lip juts out in a bee-sting pout, and she eyes the other, as if her icy blue gaze might illicit a response. “ the white, or neither ? help me – i’m pretty sure this is the hardest decision i’ve ever made in my life. ”

Nova sat on one of the plush love seats, one hand was occupied as she scrolled down her twitter timeline while the other hand held on firmly to the chocolate ice cream she was practically making love to. “Uhm” she started. Shopping - and opinions catering to fashion, weren’t really her thing. “You look good either way. Por que no los dos?” she laughed, mocking the little girl from the taco commercial.

Holding up his own phone to capture the moment for himself, he pointed to the ground eyes moving towards his nearest cast-mate. “I said the floor is lava, run, jump, damn!! ” 

Nova squinted her eyes and pointed at the various snacks lined up, debating on which items she wanted. “Doritos.. Lays.. Kody!” She turned to see the camera in his hand and immediately looked around for something to step on. She moved a row of chips towards the back so she had enough room to fit on the unstable rack. “I dislike you a lot right now.”

“I have no clue what that is but I can help you look.” Nova shuffled her feet around, searching as if it could possibly be right under her.  “I’m Nova, you? Oh and what exactly is a music score?”

☼┋◦ ( zendaya, nonbinary, she/her, they/them) you know who i can’t get over ? nova king ! the twenty year old who’s family is worth 55 million is constantly called the contingent of jervis bay ! probably because they are dependent & naive ! but their fans think they are accepting & kind hearted! i wonder what they’ll get into this season ! ( des, she/her, cst )

so since nova was younger she’s always been pretty torn about her sexuality and even gender. in school she was always the one playing basketball with the boys and somehow always found herself in the little boy’s aisle in the clothing stores. she loves ‘being a girl’ and ‘being a boy’ but never really knew what to call it until she heard of the non binary term and ever since then it’s what she prefers to go by. when it comes to her sexuality, she is bisexual but has never really had a girl partner. she just crushes a lot. that’s her thing lmao

personality wise. she’s outgoing and loud like stated earlier and she doesnt really have a filter. if your character is quiet, pls be prepared to deal with her im sorry lmao

her label is the contingent because shes very dependent on other people to be happy or content. growing up her mother wasnt really around (she lives with her father, he’s the one with the $$) and the only time she saw her mother was when her mother asked her to do things like take money out of her father’s wallet and give it to her or do this and that. like her mother always wanted something from her 

growing up she kinda became the giver like shes always doing stuff for other people, considering their feelings before hers, etc etc. like if you’re in a bad mood then she’ll be in a bad mood just because and she’ll try to do anything to make them feel better even though it has nothing to do with her oh god my poor child
