Synopsis: After a series of unfortunate events, Mok Hae-won (Park Min-young) quits her job in Seoul and goes back to Bookhyun Village, in Gangwon Province, where she briefly lived when she was in high school. There, she meets again her former classmate and neighbor, Im Eun-seob (Seo Kang-joon). He also came back to Bookhyun after leaving the village for a few years and now owns a bookstore.

When The Weather Is Fine

There are shows that just makes you feel warm just by watching it. The OST of this drama is also very warm. It has that healing energy.

This mellow drama gives off that kind of vibe. It makes you want to enjoy the simplicity of life in the rural area.

This drama depicts a young woman who had been living an ununpurposeful and busy life in the city. She is cold and had been burned out and exhausted by how she is living her life and decided to go back to her hometown where she finished her secondary education.

There she met her classmate who is also living in the hometown with his family. He owns a book store.

I love the fact that the book store plays a big part in the story. The interior of the book store also gives that warm atmosphere. For someone who loves the company of books, it gives a sliver of hope to anyone who tries to find solace from it.

This drama is slow-paced but is never boring. The shows the beauty of having a mundane life away from the hustle of the city.

I can greatly relate to this show because I love the rural life. I love hearing the chirping bird and the smell of the leaves.

If you’re into that life too, you will definitely find solace in this show.

Plot: Tells the story of five doctors who have been friends since they entered medical school in 1999.

Korean medical drama mostly evolves in power struggle and doing what a Medical practitioner must do, with life lessons here and there. Almost all of the medical drama I have watched are skillfully done and has flawless and specific plot and character development that makes it thrilling to watch.

Hospital playlist on the other hand, although mostly showing the same compassionate concept as other medical dramas, gives a more realistic feels.

It portrays a more realistic status of a medical practitioner. What personal struggle they are facing, may it be with their personal life, health, colleagues and subordinates.

The only consistent pattern in this drama is how these five talented and compassionate doctors are trying to champion life by confiding to each other while playing music.

These kinds of ideas makes me love Korean dramas more. They continuously deliver contents that are close to home with fresh and innovative ways of story telling.

I am enjoying this feel-good drama right now.
