My office is getting more homier, yay, tho am still waitin for my bookshelf to be shipped. And yea I realize I need to get a haircut asap.

After a day of #HOPE2015, I'm back at my desk, a bit groggy, but there's still more HOPE-related things to work on all throughout the week.

We're almost done preparing for HOPE 2015. I'm here on a Saturday morning helping, and some staff have been working till midnight in preparation for this important massive citywide event. My excitement level is rising... Rising...

My local laundromat on a Thursday afternoon is quite empty. Once I start my part-time work study job, I prob won't have the luxury to do my laundry at a time when I don't have to compte for machines.

For people like this super of a building in my neighborhood, snow means havin to wake up early in the morning and working out in the cold so people like me can walk on the sidewalk without issues.

U.S Supreme Court used to meet right here in the capitol building. Right here - many of the nation's most important (and also quite horrific) judicial decisions...

After some deliberation I have come to decide that this is my favorite statue in the capitol. The person has been carved gloriously to be representative of Hawaii and as probably the only statue of an indigenous American person, I am so glad that it looks so beautiful and fantastic.

I'm glad she is honored with such a dignified statue in the nation's capitol, among all the other statues of white men

Halls of Congress sure seem to go on for a while. I bet it's quite an exercise for Congress members and their staffers, though not rly accommodating for staff/visitors with walking disabilities.
