.✦ ݁˖ You must've been someone very important to Alexander. A past colleague, a fling that he never truly forgot, or even just a friend.

.✦ ݁˖ At first, Alex is... curious. He wants to figure out why you're so important and why he feels this way towards you. In some way, he thinks it's normal to feel what he feels towards you.

.✦ ݁˖ This is what love feels like, right? It's supposed to feel like this, right?

.✦ ݁˖ He wouldn't kidnap you or do anything against your will, but he can just come off as a little overprotective/overbearing. He has pure intentions - all he wants to do is protect you and keep you happy - but his execution is poor... so he tends to keep tabs on you and unconsciously seek you out occasionally.

"Just to check up on you", he tells himself for the fourth time that day.

.✦ ݁˖ The need to be around you ends up with him turning into a stranger on the street just to watch you go about your day. His stalking gets worse over time because of this.

.✦ ݁˖ Due to be so vicious about your safety, he's not afraid to get bloody. That's actually something in common he has with P2 Alex.

.✦ ݁˖ He's on the fence of being open towards you, about his behaviours, his "condition", how he feels towards you. It all comes back around to what would make you feel happiest, so he ends up not telling you anything. After all, ignorance is bliss.

.✦ ݁˖ Fighting back against P1 Alex confuses him. Can't you see he's just protecting you?

.✦ ݁˖ Overall his curiosity towards you is what draws him in. Then the questions pour in his head, why does he feel this way to you? Why not anyone else? And then he quickly realises he's almost followed you home twice.

How he's different to P2 Alex ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ He's so gentle. There's a softness that neither P2 Alex and Dr. Alexander don't possess. He knows about your human fragility, he doesn't want to hurt you - physically or emotionally.

.✦ ݁˖ He likes that you're human. It's more about him wanting to see the good in humanity through you, than about power dynamics.

[PROTOTYPE 2] ⋆˙⟡

Buckle up, this is a bumpy ride. WHERE do I even start with him?

.✦ ݁˖ Have you ever asked yourself if you deserve a peaceful life? Do you like being able to walk out of your apartment ignorant to watching eyes? If the answer is "no", then... I honestly have no idea where I was going with this, just know he's the "no" answer. P2 Alex is the worst as a yandere.

.✦ ݁˖ God help you if you caught his eye.

.✦ ݁˖ He spies on you. A lot. Even more than P1 Alex. Shapeshifting is so very nifty for stalking, just be prepared for paranoia to engulf your life. Friends? Family? Lovers? I mean, you can't be sure if he's wearing their skin that day... so just cut them all off! Go on, just to be safe!

.✦ ݁˖ He's totally not tapped into your phone, logging everything you do and everywhere you go!

.✦ ݁˖ He'll wear you down into dust before he evens kidnaps you. Y'know what? He might not even have to do that. He'll position himself as your saving grace after secretly tormenting you. A white knight saving you from this "unknowable thing" that's been haunting you, even if he's lying straight to your face.

.✦ ݁˖ He locks his own sister in a bank vault, he'll do the same with you if you're not willing after everything he does (though he might find it funny at how stubborn you are). He'll mock, he'll threaten, he'll terrorise.

.✦ ݁˖ You fighting back is like watching a tiny pet trying to play fight. He'll humour you but it's not really a fair fight when it's him of all people.

.✦ ݁˖ He does get jealous. Very jealous. Um... but literally what are you going to do about it? Blood? What blood? He can rip someone in half or he can just absorb them, and he doesn't really care about causalities.

.✦ ݁˖ His willingness to get bloody is solely out of either jealous or possessiveness. P1 Alex was at least getting bloody on the basis of "I'm protecting them".

.✦ ݁˖ Like P1 Alex, he acknowledges your human fragility... but that's the only similarity they have. He's disgusted by your... humanity, so he'd turn you into an evolved. You don't get an option, and you never will.

.✦ ݁˖ You're going to be part of his new race, and you're going to like it god dammit! If he has to drag you kicking and screaming, so be it!

.✦ ݁˖ I mean, if you are willing... then of course he'll help you control your newfound abilities! All you had to do was just ask!

.✦ ݁˖ Or maybe just latch yourself onto Dana until Heller comes along and then change your name, face, move to another country, don't look back, and keep moving until you die.

How he's different to P1 Alex ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ He's worse, he's in your walls, and he really doesn't care if you breakdown.

.✦ ݁˖ While P1 Alex defends his behaviours internally by excusing them as "protection" to keep you happy, P2 Alex just doesn't care about his behaviours. You caught his eye, what more can he say?

.✦ ݁˖ He hates your humanity. He sees turning you into an evolved as a way of "improving" you, or at least making you into how he sees you.

.✦ ݁˖ Willing or unwilling, you'll be with him. Forever.

.✦ ݁˖ Pretty harmless as a yandere overall, just slightly more creepy underneath it all. He’s isn’t the type to kidnap you… So it was probably Delsin who put the idea in his head and egged him on.

I'd also like to add that the guard Altaïr kills during the air assassination is a Templar (the ones you can find in the game - same exact model too), so they're also kinda showing side content as well (probably unintentionally/as a reach but let me grasp straws).

Miscellaneous ⋆˙⟡

00:19-00:22 - (Centre/Symbolic framing) The target is both the 4th to be executed, and has his own spot on the gallows!

00:23-00:28 - This shows both the push mechanic and how careful/agile Altaïr is as an assassin. He barely grazes the woman he runs past (making her spin slightly) while the guard chasing him chooses to push her to the ground (causing her pot to smash).

00:29-00:34 - You can see Altaïr escape from the Acre guards by sticking near the side of the church while the scholars exit. (you can also see him from the bird's-eye view at the end of the trailer though I didn't add this because it gets focused on anyway)

00:35-00:55 - From the start of the mission from the bell tower, the bell rang 12 times (leading to the scholars leaving the church and allowing Altaïr to escape). The 6th toll of the bell marked Alt killing his target and starting the chase sequence.

00:56-01:01 - Altaïr's mission started and ended at the church. He started at the church, killed his target at the gallows opposite, ran from the Templars, and then looped back to the church before the 12th toll of the bell.

What if... Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was a vampire? (A crossover with Assassin's Creed and Vampire: The Masquerade)

Early Life & Embrace ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ After the death of his father, Altaïr was raised in Alamut alongside the other boys. I feel like his arrogance would be even greater than it normally was. His original goal was to become the Mentor of the Assassin's, but here it is to be Embraced. His character is kinda just pushed to the extreme since it's high-risk, high-reward here (he succeeds or he dies).

"Novice", the word rang throughout his head as his hand moved to another crevice in the wall. "Get down!" Their voices were distant, below him exactly where they should be. He could beat all of them, run circles around them in training– "You'll get in trouble!" So why doesn't the mentor think I'm good enough? His foot moved onto a ledge to push himself upward, inching toward the flag that sat atop the rock wall, held down by a rock. He was so close. Half of the others had fallen or quit before they scaled most of the wall. His hand reached for another crevice to hold onto before his left hand reached out to the flag, fingertips brushing the swaying, frayed fabric. "You'll get yourself hurt!" Abbas called out from below.  He looked down, looking at the small figures on the ground, a draught of wind blowing his hair in his eyes. He huffed through his nose. I'm better than a novice. He grabbed onto the flag, his heart almost swelling with the sense of victory over the others. This would prove he was ready, wouldn't it? Al-Mualim would honour him, name him the perfect pupil, and promote him to an Assassin for this. His foot slipped from the wall, fragile rock breaking from his weight. The air from his lungs rushed out from the gasp he let out, his heart dropping into his stomach as the world slowed around him. His fist clamped around the weak fabric of the flag, the rock that weighed it down slipping forward. His hands wildly attempted to grab onto different crevices and ledges, the world becoming a blur with the air rippling around him, his hair obscuring his vision, before pain spiked in his fingers and hands. He hadn't noticed the flag escaping his grasp until his body sank into the thick hay piles on the ground, the muffled sounds of the boys surrounding him as they spoke in worried exchanges. He sat up, pushing away the hay from his face and hurriedly swatting it from his uniform and hair. His face burned with embarrassment, the boys looking down at him. He gritted his teeth, and a dull pain shot through his face, accompanying the pain in his hands. Abbas spoke up first amongst them, "Altaïr, your face!" Altaïr felt something drip from his chin. Bringing his fingertips upward to his mouth, the feeling of an oily wetness there made him look down almost immediately. He inspected his hand, seeing the thick red of blood smeared on his finger. He stared down at his hand, eyes wide and heart pounding, before the flag that left his grasp floated gently downward, covering his head and his embarrassment. I'm more than ready... I know it.

.✦ ݁˖ Everything he worked for paid off when he was 24, after his promotion to Master Assassin. Ever since the start, his Sire was always going to be Al-Mualim - it kinda came with the promise to Umar that he would take little-Alt under his wing.

He was the best; he had never disappointed the Master. It would've been idiotic of the old man to refuse him such a gift. He had already achieved the rank of master assassin; the embrace was inevitable. That's what had ran through his mind 10 minutes before. His body wouldn't move. Even when he was screaming at his limbs to move how he wanted. Black spots filled his vision, and the only sound in the room that wasn't his shallow, desperate breathing, was the sickening sound of his blood running down the old man's throat to whatever remaining stomach he had. He could barely think as he stared at the ceiling. He couldn't move his eyes, nor could he blink. It was a bizarre feeling — His blood being drained from his body, turning him into a soulless husk right then and there.

.✦ ݁˖ He either feeds from his targets, enemies or from the herd of humans that live in and around Alamut. He rarely feeds from innocents. He's partway Pursuer (regarding targets), he stalks his prey before both killing and draining them, and partway Consensualist (regarding the herd), though it's a twisted version of a "Consensualist" since his arrogance guides him to be like: "I'm hungry, give me blood or leave".

.✦ ݁˖ He sees no problem with this "consensualist" view. He protects the herd from outside threats; they're alive because of Alamut, they can say no, and he doesn't take more than he needs.

.✦ ݁˖ It's a grey area because the humans (and ghouls) within the herd are quite literally addicted to being fed upon (yes, it feels that good), so it's hard for them to say no.

.✦ ݁˖ He's low generation, around 8th or 9th, very potent blood, and as such, he's able to hone his disciplines quicker than most. He prefers Celerity and Obfuscate over Quietus. He thinks sorcery is a coward's tool (similar to his stance on poison), though he knows a few rituals mostly because it's expected of him to learn.

.✦ ݁˖ Has a special ability in Auspex, which gives him his Eagle Vision (Every Assassin has this dot in Auspex; the RPG Assassins also have a dot in Animalism because they have birds).

Personality ⋆˙⟡ Does anything change in this AU?

.✦ ݁˖ When he was younger, there was a strong need to prove himself worthy of the Embrace. I like to think he saw the Banu Haqim as the ultimate position in the order (as said before, it's similar to his goal of becoming the Mentor, just more extreme).

.✦ ݁˖ There's a larger sense of social awkwardness with Altaïr here; sure, he's had physical relationships with the women in Alamut, but he doesn't really talk to people outside of the order unless it's to intimidate.

.✦ ݁˖ Even with the Assassins his age, they either hate him or worship him, so he can't have a normal conversation most of the time. Older kindred are out of the question. So in full, he can never let down any of the high walls that he's surrounded himself with.

.✦ ݁˖ Emotionally constipated. Can't express his emotions for the life of him. Being Embraced pushed him to an even worse place than he was before - after the death of his father he was just raised as a weapon, he had no other child to talk to (other than Abbas, but that was short-lived and put his walls even higher) and could hardly really talk to Al-Mualim because he's probably as old as the sun and can't connect to humans even if it killed him.

.✦ ݁˖ His overall situation is worse. Paired with his isolation, Altaïr's emotions as a defence mechanism post-Embrace are just "Arrogant", "Cold", "Annoyed", and "Socially confused, but I have to hide it because I can't be seen as weak".

.✦ ݁˖ At worst, he views humans as assets, liabilities, or vessels. At best: background noise. Living in Alamut, he was raised to think like this (surrounded by vampires and all).

.✦ ݁˖ Whenever he's alone in between missions, he'll people watch. He routinely returns to spots that he knows gives him the most amount of chances to eavesdrop. It's a guilty pleasure he doesn't want to acknowledge. He rationalises it as "gathering intelligence", which oddly sometimes does work in his favour for his missions.

.✦ ݁˖ As a human he enjoyed sneaking up to places no other person can, sometimes just to meditate. Though sometimes it feels more like his excuse to get away from the world, and his life in general.

He looked down at the bloodied feather before twirling it in his hands, the white long since stained with the dark colour of blood. Altaïr breathed in the cold night air, feeling the cold invade his lungs before exhaling faint mist. He couldn't remember the last time he truly stopped and thought of the cold air, nor the colour of the horizon when the sun was rising, or that his fingertips had gone numb. On the East side of Jerusalem, he sat atop the golden-domed mosque, looking East himself and inspecting each layer of the sky. The horizon slowly gave way to the golden aura of the coming sun. He caught himself yawning, his eyes heavy as he shrunk back into the warm defence of his robes. For a solitary moment, joined only by the wind and sun, he felt a weight lift off his shoulder. Just for a moment.

Relationships ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ Pre-demotion Alt: He spends a lot of time alone. Other than completing missions, the only contact he ever has with someone is talking to a Rafiq, Al-Mualim, one of the Assassin's who kisses the ground he walks on, or Abbas (who just fucking hates him). There's never really any intimate conversation with someone.

.✦ ݁˖ Post-demotion Alt: Stays around Malik in his free time between missions if he's in Jerusalem. After a while, he started sending letters to him under the guise of "intelligence", but over time the excuses become flimsier.

.✦ ݁˖ He's had sex before when he was a human. He's just never courted someone or ever felt that "connection" to anyone. It's hard for him to properly love someone when he's only ever been focused on killing his entire life. That and his apathy toward humans.

.✦ ݁˖ Doesn't know much about women. Human or vampire, he's still confused about the art of romance and Malik laughs at this fact more than he should. (Little lore note - the Banu Haqim actually avoided embracing women, with the exception of Fatima al-Faqadi during the early 12th century - she was embraced in 1102. It's a very large male majority in the clan though.)

What have we learned? ⋆˙⟡

As a vampire, Altaïr is worse. Unequivocally worse. His arrogance, apathy, and isolation are turned up to 11. He's unhealthy as a vampire but ultimately I think his redemption arc would be much more rewarding via it being a trial by fire. I'm surprised he's not depressed (he probably is).

In short: He's worse. He's so much worse as a vampire... until his redemption.

Banu Haqim: Also called the Assamites (by the ignorant), they're one of the thirteen clans in Vampire: The Masquerade. They are guardians, warriors, and scholars. They mostly operate within the Middle East and are based off the Order of Assassins.

Alamut: The secret headquarters of the Banu Haqim clan, located somewhere within Afghanistan. (contrary to the real life counterpart which is located in Iran)

Embrace: The act of turning a human into a vampire.

Sire: The "parent" or "creator" of a vampire.

Herd: A group of mortal that allow a vampires to feed on them.

Pursuer & Consensualist: Two of the feeding types for a vampire. Pursuers stalks and collect information on their target. Consensualists never feed against the victim's free will.

Ghoul: A human who has ingested vampire blood.

Generation: The indicator of how far a vampire is removed from Caine, the original vampire. (If the Sire is 4th Gen, the Childe will be 5th Gen)

Discipline(s): Supernatural abilities that vampires can use.

Celerity: Allowed the vampire to have supernatural speed and reflexes.

Obfuscate: A vampire can conceal themselves, deceive the mind of others, or make them ignore what the user does not want to be seen.

Quietus: Banu Haqim blood sorcery. It grants the vampire influence over the blood of others.

Auspex: Supernatural senses.

Animalism: Allows the vampire influence and dominance over animals.

Vessel(s): A target for feeding.

His Embrace ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ He's a Brujah. Around 9th or 10th Generation.

.✦ ݁˖ Was embraced when Zola first started experimenting on him (around 28). He spent a lot of time confused and scared at why he was throwing up food despite being so hungry. (Kindred are functionally dead so they don't digest food, they just throw up if they eat something)

.✦ ݁˖ He thought he was dead or in some sort of layer of hell after he first woke up from the embrace. He wasn't breathing, he was starving despite his body rejecting any food, and then he was utterly disgusted at himself when he threw himself at a rat and fed off it.

.✦ ݁˖ Didn't know Steve had also been embraced (e.i how big he was after the "serum") until Steve showed him how to deal with his hunger with bagged blood during his time as a Howling Commando.

.✦ ݁˖ Steve was just his mentor for a while until he got somewhat used to being a vampire.

.✦ ݁˖ Heavy focus on Potence as his main discipline (with how strong his bionic arm is). Celerity is a close second despite his already superhuman physique. Mostly (and only) uses Presence to intimidate.

The Winter Soldier ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ Enhanced by HYDRA-affiliated Tzimisce. His arm would be a fusion between metal and fusion between metal and flesh (something like his tentacle arm from Marvel Rivals).

.✦ ݁˖ His overall physical condition was improved to be a permanent killing machine.

.✦ ݁˖ The Winter Soldier was subjected to being near fire or sunlight until his Rötschreck was marginally reduced - which was all the time. He spent a long couple of decades terrified.

.✦ ݁˖ Due to this conditioning, he can walk through burning building without going into a frenzy (which is a difficulty of 9).

The twisted part about this being a crossover is my choice of making the mind control he suffered under: the OG he suffered, Dominate (vampire mind control) or a Blood Bond.

.✦ ݁˖ As a Blood Bond, he'd be forced to drink his handlers' blood and therefore feel love towards his regnant. The Blood Bond has to be done three times in a short amount, so he was just being imprisoned for a while before drinking. Imagine slowly falling in love and caring about someone whose full intention is to make you do their bidding and do things you'd never do.

.✦ ݁˖ Sure it'd be possible for him to act against what they'd want, but that would require an extreme effort of will. And only then, it's temporary. He'd go straight back to the status quo of loving them and doing whatever they wanted.

Feeding ⋆˙⟡

.✦ ݁˖ As the Winter Soldier: Brutal Alleycat, Roadside killer and Diablerist. Would feed during missions - indiscriminately and brutally. It didn't matter to the Soldier if the victim was kindred or human. Throats being torn out were common.

.✦ ݁˖ Post mind-control: Still an Alleycat, occasionally. Feeds off of criminals, though tried not to be as brutal as he used to be. When he was free for the first time, he gathered a large inventory of bagged blood out of fear that he'd kill an innocent person again if he fed alive.

.✦ ݁˖ Fed on animals during his fugitive era. It reminded him of his time as the early Winter Soldier and a prisoner of war. Feeding from them makes him remember too much, so now he tries not to drink from animals.

Modern Nights ⋆˙⟡

Swings solo from breaking free of the Blood Bond. Still keeps in touch with Sam and Steve, as those two are really the only people he trusts.

Embrace: The act of turning a human into a vampire.

Brujah: One of the thirteen clans in Vampire: The Masquerade. They're a clan of radicals and troublemakers.

Generation: The indicator of how far a vampire is removed from Caine, the original vampire. (If the Sire is 4th Gen, the Childe will be 5th Gen)

Discipline(s): Supernatural abilities that vampires can use.

Potence: Preternatural strength

Celerity: Allows the vampire to have supernatural speed and reflexes.

Presence: Supernatural allure and emotional manipulation 

Tzimisce: One of the thirteen clans. They are the clan of flesh-shapers.

Rötschreck (or Red Fear): Is a vampire's natural fear of sunlight and fire.

Frenzy: A supernatural fight-or-flight reaction, usually a result of extreme stress such as starvation or public humiliation. Great rage or hunger are the most common provocations.

Dominate: Basically mind control.

Blood Bond: a supernatural link of fidelity and dependency of one individual (the thrall) on a vampire (the regnant), created and maintained by the repeated consumption of the regnant's blood.

Alleycat & Roadside killer: Two of the feeding types for a vampire. An Alleycat chooses to stalk, overpower, feed and escape from their prey. A Roadside killer chooses to feed from the transient population - Truckers, Tourists and Travelers.

Kindred: The word vampires use to refer to themselves.

Diablerie/"Diablerist": Basically vampire cannibalism where the eater destroys to the victims soul. Read more about it HERE.
