Magic happens on Friday.
Looking forward to a new release! :)
Kygo and Apple Music today (June 30) announced a partnership that will position the tropical house artist as a face of the new streaming service.
The king of Tropical House is teaming up with Apple Music for new streaming launch and will be remixing an 80′s classic, Aha’s Take On Me
Kygo. This is what talent looks like.
A new unreleased Kygo track, possibly titled “ I Wanna Know”. This is a rip from his live Ultra Miami 2015 set. Lets just say that I am patiently waiting for an album drop with all of these new exciting tracks.
Enjoy and cheers!

Kygo Gets His Own Hotel!
This news is coming right after Kygo’s enormous set at Coachella – he’s getting a hotel.
Though there won’t be a permanent Kygo Hotel anytime soon, the Norwegian will be taking over the Scandic Ornen hotel in his hometown of Bergen, Norway for the duration of Bergenfest in June. The three-day takeover will feature a “custom entrance to a full on decked out party room,” as well as “a Kygo video game in the entrance where you can tap along to all of his notorious melodies.”
Check out Bergenfest for more info. (Disclaimer: it’s Norwegian.)

Kygo Fanart
It’s been a while since I’ve last posted. Life has been busy, but now I am committed to posting!
I created this fanart a few months back, working with an almost low poly illustration style.
Listen to a live preview of Kygo and Dillon Francis' collab "Coming Over" from Kygo's recent show in Oslo.
Hypem: http://hypem.com/track/284vn/Kygo+-+Firestone+Feat.+Conrad Hey guys, this is my new single "Firestone". Super excited to finally share some original music with you! Hope you like it <3

Kygo's Endless Summer Tour (USA) Has Came To An End / My Experience at his show in Orlando, Florida
Just recently Kygo posted on FB about how his US tour has came to an end,
"The last 3 weeks has been crazy! 22 gigs in 23 days, it's been an absolute blast!! Thanks to each and every one of you who came to see me, I'm already looking forward to next time"
For the lucky ones who got to see the shining star at a venue near you, I'm sure you think of all the wonderful memories you gained from seeing his show. The lights, the music, the crowd, it was beyond perfect. Many US Kygo fans are feeling pretty hopeful to see him live again, hopefully next year during the 2015 festival season. I am hoping he comes back to Electric Forest next year, as I will be attending that festival and from what I've heard, forest fans loved him and want him to come back to the forest home in 2015. At EF, his late Sunday afternoon set wrapped up a perfect weekend in the forest.
I finally got to see Kygo live at The Beacham in Orlando last Wednesday, 10/15/14. I was lucky enough to get in the very front (even though I was near the side by the bar, the view was beyond perfect). I pre-ordered my ticket when his US tour was first announced. I knew tickets were going to be tough to get, and would sell out quickly, so I jumped the gun as fast as I could to make sure I got a ticket.

My husband and I having a great time!
Kygo and Thomas Jack brought Tropical House Music to life in Orlando on Wednesday night. I've seen many large EDM producers all over the state and I can say that this show hands down was my most favorite. Kygo and Thomas Jack's energy was nothing short of amazing. Everything was too perfect for words to even describe. I hope I see the two again soon in the near future.
Here is his set-list from that night (this is the best I could get and not in order):
I was very thrilled to hear the unknown ID that hasn't been released yet, I think he played another unreleased track as well, but not 100% sure.
Below are some videos I captured of Kygo when he opened:

Kygo's Tomorrowland Afterglow
Kygo is finally noticing how his new unreleased track is gaining some incredible hype!
Just days ago, Kygo posted a short clip of his set from TW, including his new unreleased track playing in the background. Lets just say fans went nuts. Im sure this track will be released here soon or once his American Tour is complete. :) For now, enjoy the short clip here
"The John Mayer of EDM"
Great article below found here: http://www.neontommy.com/news/2014/10/kygo-next-frontier-edm
The words "soothing" and "healing" aren't typically applied to electronic dance music.
Perhaps to some, a throbbing bass can offer a type of therapeutic release or just enough stimulation to forget the troubles of everyday life, but to most, EDM is traditionally associated with large, rowdy parties or with that horribly obnoxious guy in the gym who thinks it's okay to blast his headphones loud enough so you can hear his music over yours.
Now, don't get me wrong. I love EDM. Seriously. I LOVE it. Nothing is better for pumping me up before game day or helping me finish "jogging" that mile. But recently, my taste in EDM, like that of many other millenials, is shifting away from body-shaking bass drops to light, airy flutes and whispery female vocals. My tastes have shifted from DJs like Skrillex and Hardwell towards DJs like Kygo, the "soothers" and "healers" of EDM.
At just 22 years old, Kygo is undoubtedly one of the new, young DJs revolutionizing the world of EDM. When I was told by a close friend to listen to this new DJ a few months ago, I was strongly caught off guard. Like my friend, I had been a die-hard fan of bass drops and heavy beats, but to my surprise, I found myself liking "the John Mayer of EDM," as he's been fondlycalled on Twitter.
Kygo's music is unlike anything I'd ever heard before. Of the songs and remixes he's released this year, most begin with a slow, simple beat soon accompanied by harmonized, breathy female vocals. Within minutes, the song picks up and introduces a more complex, but always hypnotizing, melody.
Each song has a unique feel: some make you want to dance, some make you want to sit in bed and reflect, others make you want to be a better person. But most importantly, each song is uniquely Kygo. I promise, if you listen to just a few of his songs, you'll be identifying anything that sounds even remotely like his music as Kygo-esque. It's almost as if he's created an entirely new genre based off the love child of John Mayer and any of the DJs headlining Electric Daisy or Tomorrowland.
Kygo, unlike many remix artists, manages to keep the integrity of the original song while also bringing it to new heights. Kygo's music is therapy. Don't believe me? Check out his remix of Coldplay's "Mindnight" or Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire"-the song that made him famous-and try to convince me that you don't feel more relaxed. From the lyrics, to the harmonization, to the layering of metallic, string, and electronic sounds, Kygo creates perfectly balanced songs that are nothing short of magic. It's the kind of music you listen to while driving in the summer. It's the kind of music you listen to when you've been in Leavey library for six hours straight trying to diffuse knowledge through your eyeballs. It's the kind of music that simultaneously heals you and inspires you to heal others.
