I’ve always loved the overt significance of this being the first line of the Sequel Trilogy.

It’s honestly such clever story-telling to have the reverse of Vader’s journey for Ben Solo. And the ultimate meaning of “I will finish what you started” changing from “bringing order to the galaxy” to being with the woman you love and bringing balance to the Force. You have to really think Force ghost Anakin shows up in episode ix to reveal this truth to Ben. Right?
