Confrontation - Blocking Pass It's been a while since my last dialogue animation. I'm trying to focus more on the movement of the body. I also wanted to do an acting shot where the character moves around.

Marcel's New Day job!
Special thanks to Eric Cunha and Seung Seung for allowing me to use there super appealing character.
I did this assignment while at Animation Collaborative with Kevin O'hara in his Weight and Physicality class. It needs a lot more polish but what I learned most in the class was how much a can push and drag poses to add more weight and believability.
I ended up abandoning this animation and decided that it was time to move on to something else.
Spacebound Animation Breakdown
A behind the scenes of my animation experience on Spacebound. I dug up a bunch of movies I had and decided to put it all together. My workflow has changed a lot and this is in no way instructional but more of a documentation of my process. Making a short film is a great learning experience, my goal as an animator is to clearly communicate the film and the story to the audience. In that sense I am satisfied with the results. There are a lot of things I would have done differently today but I'm very happy with the reception of this film.
Hey There!
So, I'm gonna start off the blog with animation. What I have here is my first assignment from the animation collaborative. The assignment was to do a head turn 72 frames max. I think I went a little over here, woops. I added a little bit of music here for mood. I was going for a detective at the scene of the crime.
