Hallo

You can call me Tear or Teer, I go by pronouns he/them.

This blog will contain whump with questionable amounts of worldbuilding, because I cannot stop myself.

I will mainly write and occasionally draw something, my main focus will be my OCs which are mainly male. I prefer fantasy whump but I plan to do a lot of different AUs in the future such as: modern, scientific, cryptid and so on.

A dark fantasy world that is inhabited by different species. The kingdoms are erased, royals killed, wars are lost, and many individuals try to find themselves in all of this.

(I will try to write down a document with the basics of worldbuilding soon because, oh boy, there is a lot of it.)

Ideas part 15

TW: captive whump

Either by illusions, dream manipulation or shape-shifting, Whumper likes to act out “rescue scenes”.

They pretend to be Caretaker and rescue Whumpee.

At first Whumpee is relieved, but when they get to the door, Whumper reveals the truth and punishes Whumpee for thinking they could escape.

Whumpee thinks it's a one time play, so the next time that happens they again feel relived and inevitably get punished again.

Now they are used to Caretaker appearing in their cell, they ignore them and stay where they are supposed to, locked in the cell. No matter how creative or detailed Whumper gets with the rescue scenes, they don't dare to have hope.

They know it's fake.

They resist any form of rescue because trusting Caretaker means punishment.

So when the real one appears, Caretaker isn't met with relief or gratitude but rather fear and resistance.

Ideas part 14

TW: horrorish

I need an eldritch horror whumper.

One that tortures whumpee psychologically. Nightmares, hallucinations, lapses of memory, sudden taste or smell of blood, visions of their own death.

That thing in the corner of their eye when they look in the mirror, it creeps ever so closer every time.

With time, reality shifts and nightmares seem so so real. That creature, whumper, is just real enough that the pain feels authentic but also still only in their mind.

There is no living person to fight, to struggle with, to report to friends or police or anyone, to kill.

Bonus points if the whumpee did or is doing something bad and the eldritch horror whumper is the manifestation of guilt for that action.

Ideas part 13

Consider a collar with a leash made from a string.

Through magical or technological means, it could be close to indestructible.

It is tied in a loop around Whumpee’s throat, and pulling on it would risk cutting their skin. Either on the throat or their fingers.

A chain so fickle it doesn't weigh at all, but with each pull it reminds them how easily they could get hurt.

In a way, it's a torture, knowing that it is only a thin string keeping them away from their freedom. Maybe it would be easier to accept their fate if it was a metal chain that looked unbreakable instead of a string that looked just like one that they remembered snapping with their fingers at some point in their life.

Ideas part 12

TW: medical whump, gorey description

Whumpee waking up on an operating table.

They are not restrained nor paralyzed. Also, no one is around as far as they can see. And while they are in a bit of pain, it seems so distant as if they were under a pain medication.

It would be so easy to get away.

Except there is a hole in his stomach or chest, they can see their innards and their skin is parted open. There is surgical equipment sticking out of their body parts.

Any movement would risk an injury, the blood could so easily start flowing out, they would risk dying from jerking out the equipment and bleeding out.

There were no restraints because Whumper didn't need them, they were sure the Whumpee could not move from that table.

Ideas part 11

Someone else took control of the Whumpee's body. They got possessed and now all they can do is watch through their eyes, not being able to control any movement. 

They can only witness their own helplessness and feel the pain of their body being disregarded by the entity.

TW: nonhuman whumpee

I love dolls with their little joints, and the image of a Whumpee getting stuck in one's body is very delicious.

The freedom but at the same time limitation of having a hard material instead of skin and muscles. Bending in unnatural ways for a human, but at the same time unable to curl up because joints can only go so far.

Then cracking, that normally won't heal, it will be a permanent wound, slowly chipping till it gets replaced or repaired by someone else.

On that topic, dismembering. Just popping the joints off and leaving them useless. It may even happen by accident, it is easier to dismantle than to put back how it's supposed to.

Prompts part 9

TW: Captive whump

Washing the Whumpee

With a hose, high pressure, ice-cold if they misbehaved, when they are more obedient than maybe turn the temperature up

Give them a bucket with water and a rag, why should the Whumper bother when they can force the Whumpee to clean themselves

Give them some time under the shower, remember to remove any stuff that could help them escape, or even bind their hands to the wall or behind them

Prepare a bath for them, push them in, maybe even drown a little, how else will the Whumper make sure their head is properly cleaned?

May be a bit risky, but leave them bound outside on a rainy day, it may result in a more dirty Whumpee than before, but it can also be treated as a punishment

When they are good and obedient, then they may earn a normal bath

The light fades from a characters eyes in five stages

Denial. This isn’t real. You want me on my knees? I mean, if you ask nicely.

Anger. Snapping at the hands that tie them down.

Resist. Resist. Resist. This isn’t right.

Blood on the floor, iron-bitter blood in their mouth, knocked to the floor. Up again. Back down.

Bargaining. If I lick your boots will you give me my clothes back?

If I stay still, can I please sleep tonight?

They just have to stay strong. Stay alive. Until their friends come.

Funny, they thought they had a say in their choices.

The guards realize they can get away with a lot more when they’re dealing with the quiet prisoner.

They never had a choice to begin with. Fated to fall from the moment it started. The only thing they could control was how long it took.

It took a while.

TW: needles, sewing into skin, ripping skin

So I just found works of David Catá an artist who sews things into his own hands. Here's his Instagram and his site.

He threads the needle through the skin, creating an image. After each is finished, he takes out the thread and lets his hands fully heal before doing the next one.

And I immediately thought of an artist Whumper sawing something into Whumpee's skin. Using their whole body as a canvas. Ripping the skin when erasing and correcting mistakes. The whole process taking months if it needs to heal. (Using their blood to dye the white thread.)

Or using the thread to bind the limbs together in a more decorative way since it rips early, maybe even testing the Whumpee to see if they jerk away and rip their own skin.

if u don’t mind, how would you go abt writing a character with REALLY high pain tolerance (like yes they obv feel the same pain but it takes a much higher amount that normal for them to even show it)

like, what would make them crack? i’ve been thinking abt this for one of my ocs (defiant, snarky, and very guarded) but im not sure how to execute this lmao

When it comes to writing the Whumpee with pain resistance that doesn’t react much when hurt, I like to focus on describing little changes. 

Them clenching their teeth,

Their hand curling into a fist

Where they are looking, if they are focused on the Whumper’s eyes, looking defiantly or maybe on the Whumper’s hands, focused on the things that will hurt them

Where their thoughts go to, what keeps them resisting

If the Whumper is a patient kind, setting a constant in a form of rules, punishments and rewards is a good way. It gives the Whumpee a known way to avoid being hurt, even if the pain itself won’t break them, the defiance will start looking like a drag. There will always be an option of easier life dangling in front of them.

Of course that won’t work on every Whumpee since it requires the Whumpee to not be stupidly defiant in a way that they won’t even think about other options than resistance.

Then I can offer one of my favorite things: isolation and sensory deprivation.

Locking them in a white room or a totally dark room and leavening them for days. It’s a good way since it doesn’t rely on hurting them, but rather the need for social interactions.

Adding in a bit of manipulation in the form of the Whumper coming into the room and being good to them, giving them comfort and being the only way for them to interact with the rest of the world. 

(I need to make a more developed post about this because I have many ideas about this favorite trope of mine, like adding ticking sound, Whumper lying about time that passed and about what’s happening outside, irregular feeding times, condition that Whumpee needs to complete for the Whumper to visit and more.)

Anyway, other ideas:

Humiliation, a little bit of public whump

Reminders, like collars, maybe piercings or restrains like scold's bridle

Ideas part 9

TW: Public whump, mentions of torture, pet or slave whumpee

Somewhat of a continuation for the thoughts in this post.

Breaking of a Whumpee as a spectacle.

They are placed on the stage cursing and threatening everyone around them.

First act starts, they are punished for their defiance. Pain in its purest form, lashes, cuts and bruises. Hurt till they submit.

Then in the second act the Whumpee is made to apologize. Humiliated and broken further with more specialized punishments, showing them off to the audience.

It develops further in act three as they are corrected, taught how to kneel, crawl and beg. Decorated like a proper pet or slave. Trained to be grateful.

Lastly, in the final act it ends as the Whumpee is rewarded for their behavior. Given treats and pets, letting them rest and moving them to their next place of torment, wherever that may be.

All that under the watchful gaze of other people. They boo when the Whumpee disobeys and clap when they follow orders.

Maybe even torture equipment can be thrown on stage to use in punishments.

Ideas part 8

TW: Abusive relationship, blackmail, whumper x whumpee but can be read as platonic

An arranged marriage with Whumpee and Whumper that was forced on both of them.

Whumper got pressured by their family or their duty. Whumpee needed it for protection of them or their loved ones.

Whimper acts dismissive and abusive towards Whumpee, they take out their anger with lack of freedom on the Whumpee.

Whumpee needs to bear it and make the marriage look presentable in the public's eye.

Path 1: Whumpee tries to negotiate with Whumper and make the marriage at least bearable for both of them, with time and Whumpee's effort it brings them to a place where they can live together without many arguments.

Path 2: Whumper uses Whumpee's need for the marriage as blackmail to bring them into more of a master/servant relationship. They use Whumpee for menial tasks and as a partially willing accomplice to their plans.

Path 3: Whumper happens to develop actual feelings for Whumpee and it devolves into obsession. They still abuse Whumpee as it's what they did from the start but now they start also showing their love. Buying gifts, forcing hugs and stating their emotions out loud. However Whumpee doesn't know how to react as with them comes the threat of getting hurt.

A/N: And there's probably many more paths but those 3 came to my mind.
