I've been distracted these past few days and have gone back to my little obsession with Undertale. I remember I had an AU that I never got to show it wasn't very developed, either. I have plenty of time now to draw that forgotten AU so I don't lose my touch at art!!

Hi Nort! I noticed in the corner of the searcher page that the symbol is that of a cat and says FTC. I was wondering what the FTC stood for? Also, the text reads, "Soulless husks of ichor. If a toon were to come in contact, report or terminate immediately". Does this mean that the toon that came in contact is the one who should be terminated or is it the searcher? or both?

The book was worded kinda weirdly we meant it more in a sense that if you ever come across a searcher, you have to terminate it immediately
I’d love to see Mugman and Boris on a date, with Cuphead and Bendy trying their best to help make it work... but every single thing they do somehow makes the situation worse .
I like to believe that Boris and Mugman would be too occupied crushing on each other to even get mad about the situation.

When we first started this project, fly had to cajole me into getting into the story a little bit, as I was a little intimidated by the premise. They burst into my room at around 2-3am holding Hailey Senpai's voice dub right to my still-waking face, and made a bet with me saying "I bet you could rewrite this." I was hesitant. But after seeing so many awesome rewrites, I say down and decided "Ah what the heck. Lets have fun with it."
And WE rewrote it :]
We spent nights upon nights throwing ideas at each other, sitting in our bedrooms at 9pm for the last few weeks of June, hammering down what we wanted and using our giant whiteboard to write out a timeline.
By the time we had come up with a pretty good premise, fly said that it was too fun not to do an ask blog, just like the good ol' days, but they were scared to do it. This was another point of my hesitancy, as my previous ask blogs were kind of stressful. I told them to do whatever they wanted, but they never did it.
Finally, i got the stick out of my ass, and I made it for them. I made the hyperlink, I made the hashtag system, I set up the profile and i spent an HOUR figuring out the stupid "Read from the beginning" link (that was later) I made a pfp and fly made a banner.
And it was done!
It never would have happened if fly and i didn't just say "Screw it." And forced each other to start the project.
Now we are here, we have a wonderful community, we have so many ideas, and best of all (my personal favorite)
We have so many new stories being told!!!
It feels like i'm a kid again. I'm always excited to talk about ideas with fly, discuss with friends, answer silly questions, see all the comic dubs, the art, the fan fictions the poetry the songs.
That people are loving creating art again.
I hope to see so much more. So many more stories, so many more characters, so many ideas, so many new friends.
Holy wow this entire update was SO MUCH and SO PEAK and I wanted to share a realization I had about Cuphead's dream -- cw: mentions of & thoughts of suicide:
The entire sequence is absolutely phenomenal visual storytelling that really drives home the psychology behind Cuphead's self worth and views on the world.
We get to see up close and personal just how entangled that gambling addiction is to how the world works in his mind. He starts off on a roulette table, which naturally turns into a game of Russian Roulette.
And the fantastic symbolism that the first part of himself he kills is his gambler self. That version of him is what got him and Mugman into the messes they've been in time and time again, it's what's cost him his home, his family, his relationships. He feels absolutely no remorse over that gambler version of him dying.
But then...
He sees his younger selves wanting to participate in this dangerous game...
And he panics. They are the little innocence remaining in him (not to mention the versions shown here are time capsules of two very distinctly traumatizing events for him).
His immediate response is to take the gun to protect them.
And then...
In the next panels, he tries to empty the gun on himself. Why? To save his younger selves.
Besides... aside to the gambler self already he killed off, he sees his current self as the least worthy of sparing out of all of them. He will not take the chance that his childhood selves could die in this game of roulette. Plus, he's protecting them. So what if he dies? They'll be safe then, and it'll be for a noble cause. It'll redeem him, maybe, even if only in death.........
...and then... much to his disappointment......
Once again, he can't die.
And it's the first time we ever actually see him lose his cool...
So unbelievably peak, my jaw was on the floor the whole time and my gut was in a big ole knot from how hard it hit. Thank you both so so much for taking your time in researching and accurately representing nightmares and dreams. The whole surrealism sequence was so well done, it really thoroughly captures how PTSD dreams work, especially because it's not obvious what specific memories dreams are pulling from. Down in our subconscious, it's hardly ever the events themselves that matter, but how they made you feel and how they affected you since.

OH THIS MAKES THE WHOLE UPDATE SO WORTH IT. TO HEAR EVERYONES THOUGHTS AND ANALYSIS ITS PERFECT

But, to answer your question, I don't think Spinel even knows what cup's brothers are, she's just heard people talking about them, and obviously the comments weren't positive at all...
