I've been following your blog very early and your art is just getting better and better ^^ I love the way you compose your Doujin pages!!! I've been trying to do something similar but I've been struggling with the sound effect text. I feel like the text is too bold and doesn't mesh well with the action or scene, do you make your own text effect or are you using a reference?
I do not have preset or else, so yeah i do make them myself on the moment. Text sound effects/actions should show the "mood/vibes" of the said action/sound. So for a moan for exemple : is that a broken moan? So write the "moans" detroyed like. Is the character panting HARD? Then just write it very thick and straight. Or even a heartbit SHOCK like and strong, then it will be written BOLD with a double thin line, like 3D effect, which give a "trembling"/"echo" vibe to it. I guess it's like giving "life" or an emotion effect to the text sound/action. Don't use as well the same "font" all the time, thick lines, thin lines, trembling, straight, fancy font or destroy font, give it "life". Practice and try many different things!
