Mamas this year was so screwed up imo?? It was like the awards had been mixed around- blackpink should’ve won best rookie girl group ((bc come on, they won on a music song with their DEBUT SINGLE)) not best music video; bts should’ve won best music video ((bc the mv was artistic af and such)) not best choreography- that should’ve went to exo for monster (but tbh I may be biased but I just really LOVED the monster choreography and I found the choreo for blood,sweat&tears a little repelling).

Out of all the big awards at mama I thought it made a lot of sense that bts won artist of the year, bc blood, sweat & tears came out in October it couldn’t be the song of the year; and I really didn’t like the wings album😒(I didn’t think ex'act was worthy of winning either tho but)😒 so even though I was sad that exo didn’t win artist of the year (bc I’m an exo-l and o thought they deserved it) I really think bts deserved it too, bc they really have become huge, and they’ve had a great year

As a vocal trainer, it really bothers me that fans throw around words like X is the best singer just because they like them. I find it disrespectful to idols that actually have a good technique and that probably spent years to get to that point like B1A4 Sandeul, SM main vocals, BAP Daehyun, Apink Eunji, Bestie U.Ji… I’m not saying people need to like them but at least recognize their level of technique that is impressive.

I find it funny how so many ppl try to make it seem like exo is a reserved and closed off sunbae group when music awards practically prove that they want to communicate with anyone and anything. I know all artists are tired, but exo at MMA were the most responsive group their besides the fans and i think that’s really sweet.

EXO’s Kai is honestly everything. I can’t help but think that everything about him is so gorgeous and beautiful: The way he talks, the way he laughs, his rough yet smooth voice when singing, the way he dances with that mischievous expressions and the way he treats his fans as if we are the most precious people on earth and so many more points. I know that it isn’t really good or healthy to think like that but he’s purely perfect in my eyes.
