HIGHLY REQUESTED VIDEO is finally OUT! Why I would NOT move back to East Asia (Japan, South Korea, China). I listed out 6 common reasons, that might not be uncommon to non-Asians. So if you plant to move to Japan, China, or South Korea, make sure you are aware of those issues!
I have been observing way too many people fantasizing about Japanese, Korean, Chinese culture through the pop-culture such as kpop (BTS; Twice; Blackpink; etc.), anime, manga, douyin, webtoon, 小红书 - and honestly, most will end up chasing this romantic dream that exists only in their own imagination of countless hours consuming these entertainment media. I hope some don't end up in self-fetishization of east-asia (koreaboos & weebs). But that's a topic for another video!
This video was not meant to hate on any country, but to raise awareness about the East Asian culture and lifestyle people will face when living in this society (local society...). The pressure, competition, (unrealistic) Asian beauty standards, plastic surgery, and the dark side of Japan, China, South Korea no one talks about. If you are European, you might be treated differently (if not even worse as most will dare to be genuinely honest with you haha).
