Evan chuckled. “Yes, average guy, thank you very much.” He kissed her forehead. “You make me seem much more special than I deserve.” It was true though. He didn’t know why she stuck with him. But he wasn’t complaining. He smirked and kissed her on the lips.  “I was born in Pennsylvania and I wanted to be an actor when I grew up.” He smiled. “I still have time, though, I haven’t grown up yet, yeah?” Evan grinned devilishly and winked, before looking at her seriously. “This is going to sound cheesy.” He examined her before whispering, “Of course I’m happy, I have everything I could ever want. And by that, I mean you.” Evan pressed his lips to hers passionately, putting all of his feelings into the kiss. He wouldn’t say it, but he thought he truly loved her.

Lacey listened and nodded. She was content, sitting there in his arms. Safe. She widened her eyes at his proclamation and smiled into his kiss, kissing him back anxiously. Laceys heart beat fast and she let her lips linger on his. He was addictive and she couldn't help but kiss him again. "You cheeseball you." She giggled breathlessly. She felt bad for not telling him what actually happened, but right now, she just wanted to be with him. Lacey wrapped her arms around his neck and sighed happily. "I love you, Evan."
