i would like to see people with disabilities have powers unconventional from what we are used to seeing

everyone’s always like oh make the person who’s in a wheelchair have telekinesis or something but honestly? super speed. give the wheelchair user super fucking speed. they can go at mach 5 pushing their chair, their arms are beefy, and they’re dope as fuck.

i can’t think of any more of the top of my head but the image of a wheelchair user having someone ask them if they’d like for them to push their chair it’ll be faster and them going nah, i’ll beat you there and just NYOOMING to whatever destination discussed at like 600mph is a necessity for me

Y'know, it seems like most super-powered people with disabilities either have some sort of mental power (telepathy, telekinesis, etc.), or a power that specifically counters their disability (so they're "normal")...

So how about a team comprised of:

Deaf person who can levitate/fly

An amputee who talks to animals

Water-breathing spoonie, and a

Neurodivergent magic-user

And, of course, they'd all be top-tier heroes on their own, as well as in their Avengers/Justice League style group :)
