Sometimes I wish I was religious. I have religious trauma and was raised strict Mormon from birth to 9 or 10, and I'm entirely atheist now. However, I do remember feeling really comforted by knowing what would happen after death. Now, I'm always really scared. I don't know if it's just eternal blackness, if it's the Christian Hell, if I'd get reincarnated, or if it's some secret thing that no one knows about. The religion I was in abused me, but I will say organized religion is really good about removing doubt or unknowns.
