The gun: an AR-15-style rifle,: Sig Sauer M400 rifle chambered in a standard hunting/tactical caliber.

Ammo:He brought 103 total bullets into Apalachee High School,He discharged 36 rounds during the attack,He had 67 rounds of ammunition left when he surrendered to law enforcement.

How he obtained it:The gun was legally purchased by his father, Colin Gray, and given to Colt as a Christmas gift in December 2023
