The Rengoku’s are a touchy subject for me. Kyojuro and Shinjuro have like one scene together, so I would like to imagine that Kyojuro wished his dad (the one he had growing up) was there when he spent time with Senjuro. This took me longer than I would like to admit. CapCut decided halfway through that the font I was using is meant for pro, which is great 🙃. Definitely didn’t take forever finding a similar free font. Also I don’t know how I feel about the clips I used. Maybe I’ll redo it, who knows. I’m happy with it for now (cross posted on Tiktok, btw it's 3 parts on there because tiktok didn't let me post it since its over a minute and kept muting the sound) (so if i didn't feel great about this edit before, having to figure out why it kept getting removed and having to separate it into 3 parts was so fun)

The show runners and producers have confirmed that Charles and Selina will be series regulars just because they haven’t been introduced yet doesnt mean they arent cast and arent gonna be in it at all.

wait really?? i’m going to be honest, i didn’t look it up before i made that post (here). i had a feeling that they would probably be introduced later, but was sad i didn't get to see them when i was expecting too yk? i still stand by rick being a hypocrite though

rick riordan is the worse kind of hater cause he's a hypocrite. for a man who has spent years complaining about how the movies differed from his books, i would have assumed that when he had the opportunity to make a show he would have made it damn near identical to the books. i understand that they have to cram 20ish chapters into 10ish episodes, so some changes are unavoidable. but he's rewriting the plot at this point. i'm specifically talking about the adding of original characters (alison) while removing seemingly removing characters (beckendorf - hoping he's introduced later) and the changing of plot points (clarisse choosing annabeth as her quest partner).

btw this isn't me hating on the show, i do enjoy it and am curious to see how all these changes add up, but i expected rick to stand on business with how much shit he talked throughout the years. i'm also a little sad i won't be seeing my king beckendorf :(

now that the my hero academia anime is ending, can I share an embarrassing fact? for the longest time, I thought this picture was rei and enji todoroki (endeavor). and in my defense i don't remember what episode this screenshot comes from, so every time i saw it, i was just using context clues. i saw a blue person who's clearly scared and a red person and i was like this must be rei and enji. and so i was always confused on why people used this picture and then started talking about all for one.

and this happened so many times. it would always take me a second to realize it's all for one and yoichi in the picture, because i would briefly look at it and be like yup that's rei and enji. even when i was searching for this picture, i was expecting it to be a rei and enji screenshot and not afo and ofa.

Y'all I just finished my final rewatch of Voltron: Legendary Defenders. I will say the ending/final season is different than how I remember it when I watched it when it originally came out, but that's not the point of this post.

For context, this was the end credit "scene" (it's literally just this pic with the lions slowly moving closer to it, in case you missed it) for Season 8, episode 13 (The End Is the Beginning). I never saw this end credit when I first watched VLD (past me saw the credits and went "well that it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" and went on my merry day). But like what is this? Is the body online supposed to be Allura?? What does this even mean though? Maybe I'm reading to much into this. I would like to pretend that it's Allura and the lions went back to her, but idk.

If I had a nickel for every time a piece of media about teenagers fighting the forces of evil to save their world had two of the male main characters go from rivals to close friends throughout the entirety of the work (with the creator(s) and artist(s) for said media making non-canon artworks of the two guys in romantic settings btw) just for one of them to end up with a girl who they previously liked but had moved on from (so them ending up together feels rushed/force, especially because there was more development/emphasis on the males becoming close friends than the romance of the straight couple), I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

No hate to Izuku x Ochako and Lance x Allura truthers btw, I just thought it was funny that this almost exact situation has happened twice now.

I should have mind my own, but NO! I kept seeing edits and videos all over my TikTok and I was like "yk what? why not?" Then I binged all the episodes that were out, just to have to wait a whole week for the finale. Stayed off of social media until I was finally able to watch the last 3 episodes. And my god. MY GOD. THAT ENDING. I'M SICK. I wish I never touched Arcane. Literally nothing could have prepared me for that. AHHHHHHH

Y'all, I'm rewatching Voltron: Legendary Defenders since it's about to be removed from Netflix, and I already know I'm going to be dragging my feet through the last season. I was reading the summary for the season 8 episodes and I don't remember a single thing from that season aside from that awful ending.
