I’ve hesitated to make this post, because I refuse to acknowledge that Christie Rampone aka Captain America (or Pearcey to us old fans) my have concluded her international career. I was privileged to see her get her 300th cap presentation during World Cup Qualifying and had the bigger privilege of meeting her this past year. She is truly one of the best to ever wear a USWNT jersey, and has made the game better for having played it.
