after making this post, I wanted to try getting closer to the anime style I'd been trying to mimic when I first started drawing in 6th grade (instead of how it actually turned out), so I went back into my saved files from all those years ago and pulled out a reference (under the cut) and traced it this time

the cut on her neck is because of a scene idea I had—i had this idea that registry pendants get embedded into the skin, so she rips hers out (with help from some other characters) so she can't be tracked by the Hero Council (which is just this aus version of the elven council)

Headcanon that when Sophie moved to the lost cities the elves thought the karaoke machine she stole from Amy was taken with her since it was in her room (I think) so Amy got her karaoke machine AND her sister stolen from her 😢
wylie was right abt everything bc like. he waited his entire life for this slim hope that did dad could be saved and then she appears! and then she doesnt do anything. what is she waiting for?!?!?. and shes malfunctioning ok but she gets fixed and she heals dumb alden but then instead of healing your dad, who sacrificed everything for her, she decides to wait for the councils verdict which theyre never ever going to reach bc its too much of a "gray area." and why would they do anything when they sentenced him in the first place. and then she gives u some bullshit abt how maybe its better to leave prentice broken but shes really just too scared to do anything. and THEN you hear that shes going to heal fintan instead. and on top of all of that he has to deal with elf college

Rereading Legacy and I want to reach through the page and strangle Ro until her eyes pop out. What do you mean « he needs help in the humility department » ?! He’s self-confident and a bit cocky, that’s not having a fat head ! And even if he did have a fat head, who are you to humble him ? Not only are you ten times worse but also you’re a grown woman with no relation to him whatsoever !
I swear one of these days, I need to study and compare the instances of Fitz being humbled with the instances where he actually needs it
I might get fried for this but my hot take is that Fitz isn't even all that cocky? Like yes in Keeper he definitely was proud to be an elf, a Foxfire prodigy, a Telepath and a Vacker, but who WOULDN'T be. And in that book every elf and their mother was incredibly condescending towards us humans (and some *cough* Forkle *cough* still are) so it hardly counts.
I'm getting really sick of Shannon's mouthpieces (i.e. Ro and Keefe, mostly) telling us who Fitz is when they clearly don't know or understand him at all.
Because can you get more humble than THIS?

Not to forget how him having "Awesome Hair" is a tired line that he repeats over and over up to Unraveled to the point I don't even want to give him the benefit of the doubt and pretend it's ironic. Because he pretty much does think his hair is awesome and so much better than everyone else (spoiler alert: no, it's not).
And do I even need to pull out the receipts for Ro? If anyone could be more undeserving to have such a big, brash mouth, it's that woman.
I had the idea of tam and dex both having extremely different alternative styles but still bonding over them—tam teaching dex how to do makeup and dex helping tam alter his clothes to hide gadgets and weapons while still keeping his aesthetic (tim tam is goth to me). biana also helps them out
