Hi! Welcome to my KOTLC blog. You can call me Moon (she/her)

I've been reading the series since early 2021 and have been active in the fandom since 2024. I'm still pretty new to tumblr so I'm learning as I go.

💕 My favorite keeper book!

Everblaze is my absolute favorite keeper book, with Legacy as a close second. Everblaze has everything I love: Jolie backstory, Grady vs Brant showdown, ability restrictor conflict (angsty moping), and just the character interactions in general.

I'm going to use this blog to rant about things in the KOTLC fandom, let's be moots if your blog is similar!

Went onto Pinterest, got some tam and glimmer fanart (uh oh) decided to check the comment WHY is there a huge thread of people defending this.. glimmer is like 25 (over 22 minimum) and tam is 16????? the Alden Della argument doesn’t work because Della is also probably 100+?? She was hopefully not 16 and Alden was 116 like hello. She for sure was a grown adult. And it DOESNT MATTER because tam is still a child and glimmer is a grown woman (she’s just a bit younger than Wylie). rip kotlc pin. i can’t smh

as much as I love to criticize Keefe for being annoying and running away all the time, it wouldn’t be half as bad for ANY of the kids if any of the adults could get their shit together, communicate with eachother, and make a coordinated plan to actually fight against the neverseen instead of hemming and hawing over some bullshit. Like, get on the same page, manage the children, support the children, stop giving the kids adult responsibility with child freedom it’s actually pissing me off, the kids deserve so much better

Soap part 2

after making this post, I wanted to try getting closer to the anime style I'd been trying to mimic when I first started drawing in 6th grade (instead of how it actually turned out), so I went back into my saved files from all those years ago and pulled out a reference (under the cut) and traced it this time

the cut on her neck is because of a scene idea I had—i had this idea that registry pendants get embedded into the skin, so she rips hers out (with help from some other characters) so she can't be tracked by the Hero Council (which is just this aus version of the elven council)

I promise I am making a lore post!! I've just been a bit busy working on other things at the same time

I love this scene so much because first you have Grady immediately referring to Sophie as his daughter as he leaps to her defense and then he pulls off theoretically impossible Mesmer feats despite normally being afraid of his own power because That’s His Daughter
