Her current reaction to him even in flashbacks as told by someone who believes they’re in love has her shooting daggers into him with her eyes. If they’re meant to be happily in love, they should both be fired from their acting jobs.

She’s fine having top government officials believe she’s having a sexual romp out of wedlock. She’s fine having them believe her irresponsibility is why they’re stuck dealing with Zeke. She’s putting zero effort into making it look like she even likes the poor guy.

What’s always stood out to me about the provided story for them is that NPC Farmer Guy feels like he has to make up for his behavior. In a very personal sense, he owes Historia. Guilt is the only thing we know about him.

That means whatever Historia needs out of him, he’ll help out. And she’s still looking at him like she can’t stand him.

Something’s unhealthy in that. Really, for both their sakes I hope Historia’s not pregnant. Historia abusing NPC Farmer Guy’s guilt for her own purposes is a really disturbing look in a situation that’s already fucked up.
