misogyny rant

something that pisses me off is how much of a problem misogyny still is in our society. however, it's so deeply rooted in simple day to day life that you're called crazy for pointing it out (like going from ms to mrs, all-women sports teams having women in front of them but men's are just the sport name, taking the man's last name, the claim that the making of the child is 50/50, marriage, dress code, etc.)

today my brother reposted a video calling women stupid for pointing out the fact that women are reduced to their marital status. i tell him its misogynistic and he replies with, "it's just one letter" and "ok." but it isn't just a letter, it's women being branded as property of men. all of the sudden, the woman must take the man's last name and become mrs. she's lost everything that made her name hers. men these days are so fucking entitled and a lot of the time it goes back to how they were raised. my brother was raised by my mother who let him get away with anything, and my father who unapologetically hates women for existing.

not to mention that wannabe edgy teenagers on the internet are creating jokes to hate on women with. we are devolving. men can want women with no body hair, 4'11, flat stomach, big boobs, big butt, no cellulite, a pretty face, and to never age, but the moment a woman says she likes tall men, they lose their minds and go on a rampage talking about some bs "hiplet". hiplet is a term used to discriminate against women with hip dips (all of them), women never harassed men for being short, most of them don't give a shit. but the moment men are faced with 1/16 of the criticism women are faced with from the day they are born to the day they perish, men decide to continue harassing women solely for being women and having womanly features. men love to act like they're the victims and that women were killing them for being short. they even compare "heightism" to racism. racism enslaved people and killed them for centuries, im sure you'll be just fine if a girl makes a little comment on your height after you just called her a foid.

pedophilia is also a big concern in todays beauty standards. no body hair, no hip dips, quiet and submissive? that sounds like a child. it makes sense because most men are creeps and its inescapable today. men will never take accountability, and every time a woman rightfully complains about misogyny, men will never understand. they either say "why can't we just be friends" or "what about misandry?" this isn't about you. men turn wanting basic equality into gender wars and comparing of struggles. men will never be oppressed in the way women have been for centuries. the world was built for straight white men to thrive. misandry means nothing in comparison to misogyny. men call women who wear makeup "makeupcells" but then praise clavicular for "ascending" with makeup and a nose job (that would also be hated on if a woman was getting one). fuck misogynists

P.S. I believe Final Fantasy VII: Last Order established the names of the BC Turks, although, as far as I remember, it is not considered canon due to certain discrepancies with Crisis Core.

I also remember a website that gave the BC Turks different names before Last Order came out. According to that site, Judet and Maur were named Kira and Durian. I like to think of those as aliases they use alongside their weapon-based codenames.

ferus is weird because i don't think he's actually that bad but everything he does is related to us by Mr. Unreliable Narrator over here so it's hard to be sure of like anything

like just in the first book anakin is highly offended by ferus taking the lead (tho it is debatable if he actually is) but like even if he is... ferus is older than all of them by a fair margin (especially at that age... he's like a junior or senior and the other three are like eighth graders/freshmen). it makes sense for him to take the lead a little bit. if i (a rising junior) was alone with three eighth graders in that situation I WOULD TAKE THE LEAD A LITTLE BIT

Recipe suggestions:

I am doing physics experiment where we have to weigh fish in an elevator and do math to find the true mass.

After my friends and I are going to share a meal.

The fish we are using:

White flesh fish (I have to look up which kind of white flesh fish to use).

Salmon

Chicken (some don’t like fish)

Lobster (so fancy I know)

I need suggestions on what to make. There will be about 6 of us. I need the white fish and the chicken to be an entree style thing and the other two are up for anything

I don’t want to cook anything over three hours.
