Spending some time outside with my jump rope.
Remembering the days when I used to exercise regularly and care about my health. It will happen again.
Happy new year!!!
I've started a new workout. I am trying to do ballet. My balance is terrible but I think I am improving. As a big girl, balancing in my top toes is really difficult, but if I keep at it, I know I will get better. I am going to be documenting my progress here.
A sort of progress vid. Every day is day 1.
There is no actual change. I feel like I'm getting worse. As much as I want to improve, my motivation lies elsewhere. I feel that I need to care for my mental health and heal myself emotionally before I can make any real improvements in my physical health.
The current state of things. I finished school and now I have time to get back on track. Was I ever really on track? I don't really know, but what I do know is that I am trying to get my health in order.
Invest in Your Physical Health
invest in your physical health and physique/appearance. I don’t mean trying to reach a certain number on the scale, investing in surgery, or trying to attain unrealistic standards. Investing in your physical health is about making the time to exercise and cooking whole and healthy foods at home. Invest your time and be dedicated and give back to your body for all of the hard work it does. ultimately , you will thank yourself. Eating healthy and exercising boosts confidence and security - not necessarily because your appearance has changed but because you made a goal and you stuck to it and you are taking care of yourself 💞
stop wishing and start doing - go be the you you’ve always wanted to be. You deserve to give yourself this.

What's truly keeping me from losing weight?
1. I'm scared that after all that hard work, I'm still not going to be happy.
2. I'm scared that I will drop dead from working too hard.
3. I'm scared that it will take more effort and a much longer time.
4. I'm scared that I'm going to gain it all back plus some more like I've done in the past.
5. I'm scared that I will turn into a snobby asshole.
6. I'm scared that being fat wasn't the reason behind my loneliness, I'm just not an attractive person.
7. I'm just scared.
Still fee the same way!
Ok so I have been very bad at keeping up with my fitness. It has been reduced to just walking every once in a while. I'm just trying to get through my master's program.
We’ve all been hurt, we’ve all got it wrong, trusted the wrong person, made the wrong bet, turned the wrong way, made THAT mistake. What we’ve experienced is important, it defines us. But what is more important, and often forgotten, is that we decide how it defines us. The experience, decision or moment itself does not. Others will almost always try and define you by past transgressions more quickly than your past successes.
I’ve made mistakes, I’ve been someone I’m not proud of plenty of times. I’ve fallen down. I’ve loved the wrong person. I’ve failed. I’ve been hurt. I’ve hurt. That’s life! In life we are going to get it wrong….alot. What I’ve tried to do and still try to do each time though is recognise those mistakes and mould them to my advantage. Make them a way to better myself. We’ve all had a bad experience thanks to someone else. Don’t let that bad experience decide how and who you are. Don’t let it hold you back from love or success or giving something a go. Don’t vent your pain onto or at others in an attempt to bring them down and hold them back and cry your fury to the world. Don’t let it turn you into the monster that hurt you.
Use that experience! Run with it. Take the sum of your past and make it your tool to approach the future with. Move forward and love the experiences you have, use them to define you and make you the best version of yourself that is humanely possible. Your life is yours and will be whatever you want it to be. Love, grow, pursue, strive, challenge yourself.
Be afraid so that you can be brave.

I've been good this week. Did 3 days in a row, yah me!

I actually worked out today!!!!!
Do any of you have experience with the Noom app? Did it work for you?
Wish me luck and good health.
I really thought that having this blog would help me stay accountable for my fitness but that's not happening right now and I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't know if I want to continue keeping up with this blog or not but right now I'm just going to be taking a pause from it because I have no progress to report I have nothing good to report and this whole COVID 19 thing is really messing with my head.
I haven't been able to go to the gym or meet with my trainer since March and that has really made me be inconsistent with my workouts. I haven't put my fitness as a priority. I see a ton of other people getting their fitness going and they're actually active working out but I don't know something's going on with me where feel like I just can't do it.
If any of you out there have any encouraging words for me that would be really great. I just feel really discouraged right now. I hope you guys aren't disappointed. I don't know how many of you actually following me on this blog and following me on my journey but I need help.
So, I have a trainer now. I must not fail!!!

I made it to the gym. Mostly cardio work with one abdominal machine thing that I have to kneel on and cuts off the circulation to my legs.
Went to whole foods to try a fat burning recipe. I'm supposed to see changes after 10 days. I will keep you posted. I also have that #TC1gel stuff to rub on my belly to induce more sweating when I workout. So far, I have been sweating more on my belly with it than without it, but honestly I think it's because I also have the wrap on. No skin irritations, so that's good.
I love my #underarmor sneakers, they are so comfy and they don't hit random pressure points on the soles of my feet like all my other sneakers.
