She supposed it was a good thing she hadn’t decided to actually rob the place. Lord knew what she’d get herself mixed up with but she couldn’t resist at least tempting fate. They were no Spider that’s for sure, but she was too curious for her own good. Not for the countless bits and bobs lying around the mansion but for those insides. There had to be at least a few niffy talents within the mansion, to say the least. She can feel the eyes on her before she sees them, the little trinket she’d swiped coming in dangling from her fingers. “Caught me.” She almost, almost laughing expecting to bump into the woman from the other night, “Let’s just call this even shall we? I’d hate to cause your luck to turn around.”
Jaylen had seen her sneaking around when he was outside, basking in the moonlight and watching it glimmer on his wings. She didn’t seem familiar and she was definitely suspicious. The fairy followed her silently, his wings making no sound as he fluttered towards the mansion. Landing on his bare feet gently. He didn’t realize that she had seen him, making the young mutant blink when she spoke to him.
“Y-You don’t belong here.”
He told her, dark hues looking down at the trinket in her hand.
“T-That’s Aunt Jean’s..... Give it back!”
He didn’t want to use his magic-- he couldn’t control it. He didn’t want to hurt her but his fingers traced over the bracelets that contained his power.
