Okay it's been a while the past years were really alot for me mental and physically. I was exhausted but I do feel better now and had worked on myself from scratch. I am kinda back and will try to post soon

The yellow light bulb was the only thing illuminating the dark room. The room looked like an old hospital ward that one would only see in horror movies. Women were sitting on their beds without any motion. There were no windows to know if it was day or night.
Someone could mistake them for corpses if not for their eyes blinking. I was sitting on the floor, blood dripping from the wound on my head where I was hit by a metal vase.
My brother stood in front of me his face filled with anger. I didn't make a sound when he hit me with the vase again making me see black in front of my eyes. I couldn't even see his face properly. I fell on the floor exhausted, my body not being able to handle my weight anymore.
"My little sister, you know how much I care about you? Then why did you try to run away from me?" He said with a bone-chilling tone.
A grunt left my mouth not being able to say anything in this condition.
"You know how much I favour you out of all my dolls. You always acted so obediently, like how a doll would. Then why did you disobey me and try to run away."
"You know dolls cannot run Y/n, so how could you? Do I need to train you again?
Do I need to break you more for you to understand?"
He kept ranting but the words made no sense to me my head throbbed with pain.
I don't know after how long but he finally left the dungeon. There were many eyes on me but there was not an ounce of emotion in them. Because perfect dolls don't express their emotion. They do not react no matter what happens around them and I was no exception to it. After all, I was just a doll in my brother's collection.
I pulled myself toward the corner of my bed the blood had splattered on the mattress. I put my head on the sheets my eyes felt heavy, my body felt numb and soon all I could see was darkness. But rather than being scared of it all I felt was comfort and calmness. Maybe if I stayed in the dark no one would be there to hurt me more because the darkness is the void of anything just like me.

😄I am back after..... Ah...few days? Months I guess😅. I am finally out of my depressed mood, and all of a sudden I have so much motivation to get back to my writing ( My exams are near that's why). I hope it's not only me who get like this when exams are close. My marks in chemistry and physics are going in negatives but I am doing fine in maths.
By mistake I got good Marks in maths (I had no idea if what I was doing was even right) .

Looking at the sky covered in dark clouds I thought of nothing and decided to close my eyes and fall back on the ground below me trying to relax.
The peaceful atmosphere was broken because of a scream followed by a loud bang. I got up in fright my ears on alert and eyes searching for any danger nearby. I was sure the loud bang was the sound of the guns of hunters. What were they doing here? Hunters usually don’t attack facilities, but I was sure the gun was fired by them.
The sound of gunshots could be heard outside with the screams of hybrids. I went toward a window to see what was going on inside. The scene that was in front of my eyes made my stomach turn in disgust. The marble of the facility which was once white now had blood on it and there were bodies of now-dead hybrids on the floor.
I saw a hunter dragging James in the corridor with his hair, James was hitting the hand of the hunter trying to free himself. The hunter threw him on the floor and pull out his gun without thinking he shot him in the head. I let out a gasp from the shock and ducked down trying to hide my back facing the wall the window being just above me. I put a hand on my mouth not wanting to let out any sound.
My heartbeat was going wild because of fear, I heard footsteps behind me coming closer and look up just as the hunter reached the window and saw me. The hunter jumped out of the window as I made a run toward the exit with all my power. Running out of the iron door of the facility I looked back to see the hunter aim at me, but as he was about to shoot he got tackled by Nate who shouted for me to run away. The hunter missed his shot, I looked forward and ran into the forest surrounding the facility not looking back again.
My eyes were getting blurry because of the tears but I kept running deeper into the dark forest. The broken branches made cuts on my feet making me wince due to the pain, breathing heavily my speed was gradually decreasing. There were no footsteps behind me anymore, just as I thought I was away from the danger I felt something sharp pierce my feet making me fall.
As soon as I fell I was pulled up with a force. I realized that I was caught in a net, and now there was no chance of my survival. I kept trying to break free, but it was of no use I finally gave up with a cry of pain and closed my eyes as tears continuously falls from them. Blood was trickling down my feet and onto the ground below. I didn’t know how much time had passed, but I finally heard footsteps followed by a voice.
“Looks like we caught something,” an unknown voice said.
“I am surprised it made it this far without getting shot. what is it through Henry ?” Another man said.
“A cat hybrid, not so rare it is useless for us.” the guy I suppose his name was Henry said.
I opened my eyes to see him take out a gun and point it at me, he finally pulled the trigger.
BANG
I jolted up from my sleep with heavy breathing and a dry throat, my clothes were sticking to my clothes because of the sweat. I have had the nightmare about that day for over 20 years. I don’t remember much about my childhood other than that day, the nightmare always felt so real. The shouts of pain and the sound of guns always echo in my brain.
There was no way of me sleeping again after that so I decided to get up. Taking the glass from the bedside table I filled it with water and drank it. My heartbeat was still uneven, after putting the glass back down I looked at the clock, it was 5 in the morning.
Letting out a sigh I went to the bathroom to start my day. Getting rid of my sweaty clothes I got in the shower. The cold water hit my face helping me relax. After taking my shower and putting on my clothes for the day ahead. I wore a simple white shirt with black office pants, pairing them up with a simple necklace and a ring.
Walking in the kitchen I picked up an apple and left the house with my bag containing all my important stuff in it.
I got in my car and took out my phone messaging my assistant that I will be leaving for the trip a little earlier than planned and not to wait for me. Putting my phone back in my purse I started the car ready for the long journey ahead.
It was an unlucky day for me, after three long hours of the journey my car stopped 30 mins away from the destination because of a flat tire. No cars were passing on the road. I hit my hand on the steering wheel out of anger and went out of the car with my bag. There was no spare tire in the trunk so I had no choice but to call my assistant if there was any signal here. But to my bad luck, there were none
I let out a frustrated cry and looked here and there for any place to stop to ask for help. I walked a bit further away from my car and after 10min I finally saw a run-down building. Suddenly the picture of the facility came to my mind but I shook my head and took a deep breath. There was a board in front of the building which had a hybrid adoption centre written on it.
There was a strange feeling in my heart that was telling me to go inside the building. I didn’t even realise when I took steps forward and went inside the building there was no one on the counter. I looked around me, the inside of the building was a bit cleaner than I outside. The smell of different hybrids made my nose burn and my head hurt.
I heard footsteps running towards me but before I could see who it was the person hold my hand in a bruising grip and rudely pulled me toward him with force. I let out a wince at the rough treatment and looked up.

Chapter 1

The loud sound of a metal pipe hitting the iron door made me wake up with a jolt. With my ears pressed to my head, and dilated eyes I look at the door of my room in fright.
I came back to my senses after hearing Marine yelling for us to wake up. It was already seven in the morning, but there was no sunlight coming from the cracked windows. The sky was still covered in thick clouds.
I got up from the cold floor rubbing my eyes to start my daily schedule.
Luckily there was no water on the floor near me through the dripping roof. I would have had to work with damp clothes if my clothes got wet.
The walls however were soaked in water and the mold had gotten worse. There was a strange smell all over the room.
I decided to ignore it as I was already used to it and went out to wash up before I had to get to work. There were around 20 hybrids in the faculty the work was divided between them. I and 6 other hybrids were in charge of cleaning the building.
Walking towards the bathrooms there was a queue of hybrids, I spotted Nate in the line and went toward her.
Nate was a rabbit hybrid who was in charge of cleaning the building with me. Nate came into the faculty a year before me but she was the same age as me.
She was the closest thing to a friend I ever had.
When I came, Nate was the person that was assigned to me to tell me about my work in the faculty. Unlike others, she didn't look at me as if I was her enemy.
Standing behind her, I smiled at her as she faced me. She had a sad pout on her face almost as if she was about to cry.
"What happened Nate?" I asked holding her cold hand in mine.
"The building is a mess because of the rain and thunderstorm, it is going to take us so much time to clean today."
I finally noticed the floors which had a few small tree branches, leaf and mud lying on it. If this was the condition of the bathroom I couldn't imagine what the hallways and canteen look like as they were fully opened.
The fact that the building was near a forest didn't help us at all.
"If we can't clean the building before lunchtime we won't be able to eat," Nate says as she moves forward in line.
"I know, but we can't do anything other than hope that we finish cleaning on time. There are still 6 hours before lunch.", I tell her as we move forward since it was now our turn to use the bathrooms.
There were 4 bathroom in total 2 were used by the girls and the other two by the boys.
After cleaning up and wearing our clothes again we went to the storage room where the cleaning supplies were kept. The other 5 hybrids already picked up their cleaning supplies and went to work.
Nate and I were in charge of the 2nd floor along with James an otter hybrid.
He never talked to us choosing to ignore us and doing his part of the cleaning silently. I didn't know how old he was but seeing his height I could tell he was at least a few years older than us.
Without wasting any further time we quickly picked up our supplies and went to the second floor with the help of stairs.
James was already there picking up the broken branches and shards of a broken glass window.
We spent the whole morning cleaning the 2nd floor. James had already left as soon as the cleaning was done. There was no call for lunch, so we knew we still had some time before we had to go.
I went toward the open window and looked at the small garden, there were some wild plants and weeds with overgrown grass. A small gust of wind blew making my hair blow back, as I closed my eyes to feel the cool air. The scent of wet soil was calming my mind.
I looked back as I felt someone tap my back.
"Y/n it's time for lunch, let's go." Nate said with a tired smile feeling hungry after all the cleaning.
I just nod and followed her, there was a strange ache in my chest and my head felt a bit heavy.
We went to the canteen to have our fill and sat at our usual table. The food was bland the bread was stale, but it was good enough to eat. We also didn't care enough about it as long as we were getting something to fill our stomachs and keep us alive.
Nate and I spent some of our time talking about the adventure we had done when we were roaming the streets, and playing some games I once saw the children in the playground playing.
The rest of the afternoon was uneventful I went back to my room as the headache was getting worse and worse. Laying down on the room floor I closed my eyes from exhaustion.
I woke up with a sour throat and pounding in my head. I had no idea what time it was but looking at the dark room and silent hallway it must be nighttime.
My throat was hurting badly I wanted water. I got up from the floor and went to get water from the water jug that was placed at the front desk.
The sound of strong wind was the only thing to be heard in the building.
"It looks like it's going to rain again," I said moving forward in the pitch-black hallway. If it was not for my hybrid eyes I would have tripped on something.
As I reached the front desk I picked up the jug of water and drank some before putting it down.
The sleep had already left me so I decided to go to the garden to take my mind off my throbbing head. I went to a silent corner in the garden and sat on the damp grass which hasn't dried fully yet.

I am halfway through the 1 chapter of heart full of love. i hope you like the chapter. I am most likely to post it at night after re-reading it.

The sound of rain and thunder was echoing around the whole building. Because of the harsh weather the light was cut out, Making it difficult for anyone to see anything.
I was sitting in the corner of a room my small from cowering from the harsh sound of thunder.
The condition of the building was not good, there was water leaking from the roof and molds on the wall.
But it was better than being outside in the thunder storm.
The cold floor of the building and the lack of warm cloths was making me shiver. I wrap my hand around my body in hope to warm myself up a little.
There was not many facilities available in the shelter as no one cared about hybrid enough to provide them some warm clothes or a blanket to keep them warm.
The lighting struck again making me cower in fear as I let out a whimper. I covered my ears, the loud sound being too much for my sensitive hybrid ears.
I deside to lay on the floor legs curled in toward my chest with my hands in the middle.
It has almost been 1 year since I arrived at the facility after being caught while steal some food from a stall. The owner called the management after catching me.
I was almost 6 when I was sent here by the hybrid management organization, the facility was not good but it was better than sleeping on the street with no food. They provide us food one time a day and a roof on our head in this weather.
There were not many people who came to adopt hybrid here, most of them preferred to adopt from a well and expensive shelters.
In the year I have been here I have only seen 3 hybrids get adopted. 2 female rabbit hybrids and a male cat hybrid all of them being around 10 years old.
The hybrid here never talked to each other, for them everyone was a rival they had to fight to be able to have a good life outside the facility with hopefully an owner who would not treat them badly. It was nearly impossible since it was hard to get an owner who would take care of you.
Most of the time adopted hybrids were abused or returned to the shelter by their owner. They were treated like an object to show off the wealth, the more rare hybrid the more rich the person.
I never understood why humans liked to cage everything that they see or find interest in. Why do many of them take pleasure in treating other living begins like an object.
The lightning had stopped soon, the sound of rain made me sleepy. I soon found myself dozing off thinking about if I would ever get adopted in a loving family ,or would I spend all my life here in the shelter laying on the cold floor with nothing or no one to keep me warm.
