God would have me believe I am unfolding and I do see, around me a tenderness a tendency towards a pattern. at times.

God would have me love as if forgiveness is never necessary and I do believe to understand is to transcend the space between two humans. at times.

God would have me know truth needs no knowing and I might be able to perceive the light in the space between the stars. at times.

But what if I am just a cloud of milk and coffee I do yearn in the least reasonable of ways for unreasonable simplicity. at times.

And what if I am just a broken egg tending towards the future because I really do wonder if I am moving backwards in time and I just don't notice. at times.

What if I exist only in a pocket of a grandiose illusion a place where understanding is lost in the space between the fragments of a single human being. this time.

God would have me know Truth needs no knowing Time needs no direction Fragments need no mending

God would have me. but what if, I will not have God?
