First hearing the news of George Michael's death, I was a bit unresponsive... it's saddening, but after hearing a few songs it's starting to settle in... his music (along with Wham!) was a big part of my childhood and growing up... I remember sitting at home and watching the VHS over and over again... and every time it got to "everything she wants" I was both sad and happy... it was my favorite song yet I knew the video was over after that... reminds me of my sister and I rocking out.... to growing up and singing them in the car... from the one time my sister and I put on high heels and pretended we were the black and white girl at the beginning of "club Tropicana" to every Christmas knowing my dad was going to play out "Last Christmas".. thank you George for your gift of music! You've inspired some great moments in my life...
