It's only been three weeks since Gina Klafeta of Naperville launched her new frozen dessert business in Lombard, but she's already on her way to some sweet success. The 23-year-old said she got the idea to create an allergy-friendly, nondairy, vegan food product after studying baking and pastry-making at College of DuPage and nutrition at Northern Illinois University. "Seeing a little kid's face when they can't eat with their friends is so sad, especially with sweets," she said.

Acupuncture: New Frontier In Stress Relief

A recent study revealed that rats showed fewer symptoms of anxiety and stress after getting acupuncture treatment.

We've been happy to see that more mainstream media outlets are beginning to advocate for the healing benefits of acupuncture!

#Ouch! Fitz hurt his foot and he's not sure what's wrong. After a week with lots of activity, he began to feel a sharp pain throughout the sole and outside of his right foot. Walking and putting weight on his foot makes the pain worse. He has less pain when his foot is supported or when he is standing on his tip toes. Ice and rest alleviate the pain but once he begins walking around, the sharp pain returns. What could be causing this pain? #Help!
