Wanted to sketch Winslow bc i just can't get his facial features right (still can't btw) 🐎

I tried to find photos of William Finley to see his face without those big ass glasses that deform his face but bro is just blind so i didn't found any (i searched for like 5 seconds I know i can find better) and he just has so little of photos that aren't from POTP??? LIKE HELLO???🧍‍♂️

Anyway, love his face but can't get it to look right

GUYS I'VE FINALLY FINISHED IT

I've official finished my first full fanart of Winslow 🙏

The photo quality is ATROCIOUS, but well i can't do better, and the drawing is actually small, like it's not a full page so it doesn't help.

I'm not that satisfied with it honestly, the more i look at it the less i like it-

Maybe I'll touch up some things later to make it better, if I can🧍‍♂️

I'll certainly finish the one base on Marat's death tomorrow 🙏

Sometimes when I'm drawing human body and that the anatomy is pissing me off, i just want to let it like it is and not correct it, and then i tell myself that Hannibal Lecter would disapprove and that he'll be proud if I did the anatomy well, so I lock in.

How I love noticing that (once more) my paper wasn't meant for watercolours paint 🎀 (idgaf I'm more than halfway into it)

The first image it's basically my paper saying no to the paint

I think it's my punishement for painting Winslow suffering

I could have realised it earlier lol, like the paper literally came into pieces, it can be seen in the background, like there's small "dust" of paper.

It's a cheap paper supposedly made for watercolours but i took the back of it because i HATE its texture

OK GUYS I NEED HELP

So I'm making this Winslow fanart thats is based on the painting "Marat's death", on the painting there tissues is green

BUT, i had the ides to make mine Red like Winslow's cape when he's the Phantom, though at the same time I think green may give a better vibe to the drawing? Red is fierce, catchy, and will automatically make the person looking at the drawing look at the tissue, so maybe Green is better cause well...the drawing isn't meant to be full of energy, it's meant to be lethargic, he's dying, not playing hard rock yk
