Unidentified singing birds tweet as cars and water flow by

Mergansers sling the surface of the gravity fed river

Stellars Jay sqwAuk from the tops of alders for the reminder to look up

Energy from the sunshine,photons, fill my sails across the wilderness, human groomed nature, releasing the chill from my boned hands

Grassy paths with rooting flowers are perfect for a snooze in the sun

Moss and lichen bloom and feed before those leaves block their light

Evergreen embrace their beautiful winded figure

Being comfortable with the grass on my side of the fence

Stargazing

Laying in bed trying to go to sleep & Fred says- “we should drive to look at stars one day” half asleep I agree and before I know it I’m in the car as we drive out with the doggos to look @ the night sky. Now it’s 1:30am and we’re both in our PJs parked by an airstrip looking at the stars. Random adventures that will probably be forgotten about in a few years are the best.
