Lost and Found
In Nocturnas defense, she was technically older than Alto, physical age notwithstanding. She was practically ageless, after all, though that would all change soon as soon as she figured out what this lute would do. As soon as the offer came, Nocturna nodded, turning around to backtrack in the direction of the warehouses. “You like him, huh?” Nocturna couldn’t help but tease, “I can wait to figure out what this lute does. Patience is my game, after all.”
“What?” He said, a slight blush on his cheeks dow from embarrassment “W-was it really that obvious?” He muttered to himself quietly. Jeez, that comment really did catch him off guard… “…I wonder why he was hiding for so long, though…He never missed a day of work until around a month ago…And that’s when I haven’t seen him at the Library at all…”
“Well… now you’re blushing, so it’s pretty obvious,” Nocturna grinned at the other as he muttered to himself. She put a hand on her hip as she gave him a half grin in turn as he started wondering to himself. Nocturna started to lead the other through some back streets, following her footsteps over to the place where she found the other. “Well… I don’t know. Maybe he got in trouble? I dunno if individuals like him are targeted for looking different, but… well, I don’t know. I know I’m running at a risk since I was turned… into a vampire.” Nocturna rubbed the back of her neck nervously, looking away. Not many would look at a Vampire normally. She felt that Alto at least was the more open minded one since he helped her.
A small noise that sounded like a ‘meep’ came from the Elsen as the blush got slightly redder. He crused under his breath for being embarrassed so easily. However, once Nocturna said something about him looking different, his eyes widened in fear.
“He looks different?” How different did she mean!? “M!?” He called out once they were at the area where Nocturna met him. Alto heard the nouse of footsteps, and was shocked to sees him, which confirmed his fears. He had burnt. Almost immediately, Alto hugged M. And Alto was crying.
The conversation changed pretty quickly and as soon as she mentioned how different M was, she knew he probably was already worried about what she meant by that. Calling out to the other and finding the location of M wasn’t hard and as soon as they spotted him, Nocturna held back as she watched the pair reunite. “I’m really sorry,” Nocturna couldn’t help but sympathize. After all, she also changed in a way she didn’t want to and now looked very different. However as she felt the thrumming of energy against her back, she wondered… Was it possible? Could she change the others back to how they were before?
Alto didn’t let go of M for a while. He didn’t really want to. It took a while to let go. He put up a gloved hand to his face in orrder to try and wipe away his tears.
“I-I missed you…” Alto said as ghe looked at Mascot, still trying to make his tears stop. Mascot then hugged Alto
“…I’m sorry.” Was all that Mascot could think to say.
Nocturna looked over at the pair, for a brief moment wondering if she could find her family here. Whatever this place was anyway. Though as she watched the two of them, she wondered just what would make M so afraid to find Alto. Just disappear like that... Whatever it was, it was a huge threat. “I think I know how to return you to how you were before, M. You and Miss Jade,” She spoke up, thumbing to her lute, “This thing... well, I mean... It has powers. I don’t know how risky it would be, but... it’s... worth a shot, right?” Nocturna, unfortunately, was the type to do whatever she could to fix things. No matter how bad it was. Still... something for her was better than nothing.
