Lost in translation 0.1

Languages are difficult... Well, more than difficult they are tricky. Even in your own language, things get confusing when you talk with someone who speaks the same thing but comes from another country. It's all about how people from different places use the same language.

I made that long boring intro to explain the funny comment that happened today with the word "durex" ,which Mexicans use to refer to masking tape/duck tape/a tape to paste things together. It went like this:

"Teacher, do you have durex? I have a little problem here..."

Wrong, wrong, wrong...

I will never get used to this 😂😂😂

Short convo with a student:

Student: teacher, did you ever use pull-ups ?

Me *inside my head - what the fuck? Is he asking about my bra? Nope nope nope... * : what are you talking about?

Student: the pull ups teacher... The diaper that you used when you were little...

Me: *massive sigh of relief*… no honey, they didn't exist back in the day...

Conclusion. I need to remind myself they are still kiddos and I'm fucking old, I mean, those diapers didn't exist!!!

I’m nice, enough of that!

I tend to be a nice person, I believe in karma and things like that, but sometimes it makes me get in situations that are a bit awkward or hassles. 

Today, my hairdresser came home to cut my hair, at least that’s what I asked for and I was supposed to get... but no, she went all the way and put some treatment and things on it that I didn’t ask for, but I was worried to say no, she was already putting things on. 

End of story I ended up looking fabulous but poorer, wondering how I’ll make it till the end of the month.  

You need to find some balance on this for fecks sake.
