Is there a name for the animation style in Chowder?

It’s so specific, I haven’t seen other shows use it. Certain patterns, like those on Chowder’s clothes, Truffles’ hair, Schnitzel’s skin, etc, look as of they stay still. It’s like they make the shape of the character as a hole and then move it along above the pattern. I love it a lot.

I fucking love Harold. Like s1 Harold was disgusting and a massive pushover for most part, BUT... he fought back like a bad bitch against Duncan. Bagged Leshawna (Sort of), he even saw the goodness in Heather continually in the s1 finale and s2, is genuinely an intelligent and skilled person and sometimes I wished I had that type of fucking confidence.
