It's very obvious that many marvel fans only watch the movies and have never picked up a comic book in their life especially when they mistook Jean for Wanda in a game called Wolverine because why the fuck would Wanda be there, the red hair and Logan straight up calling her Red was a dead give away and Jean's worn blue suits before, her 90s custom was blue and yellow, she hasn't always dressed up in green. I think the worse I've heard were people in comment section thinking it was psylocke - WHEN THE FUCK HAS PSYLOCKE EVER BEEN DEPICTED WITH RED HAIR! YOU PEOPLE CAN'T BE THAT DUMB!
Do you think people would hate Mary Jane as much if she ended up married to an already established marvel character like I don't know - Johnny Storm or something instead whatever the fuck Paul was supposed to be?
The writers desperately wanting Cait and Vi together without ever acknowledging the white elephant in the room ended up derailing the entire plot. Its why they sent Ekko packing and having him only return after Vi was helping Cait terrorize the undercity because Ekko would've beaten Vi's ass. Then needing Jinx's blessing like - why the fuck would Jinx give one iota of fuck about the woman she depised the whole time or care that she blew her mom up. Like I started rolling my eyes into the back in my head when Vi started slurping tongue with Cait while her so called beloved little sister was committing suicide in the next scene.
If anyone was dirty by the writing it's defintely Vi by making her spineless doormat that Cait walks all over, like Vi had zero reason to go out and execute her own sister, she had no loyalities to Topside nor should she and she just met Cait, Piltover's been starving, brutalizing and killing zaun for ages, Jinx blowing up a few council members was just them getting a very small taste of their own medicine.
Don't even get me started on Jayce's dumbass speech.
I think the funniest thing about the Jean/Logan/Scott thing that gets X: men fans in such a twist especially the dudebros of the fandom is that their upset at Scott being the "Cuck" in said dynamic and to be honest if you ask me its Scott whose doing more of the cucking and Jean's the one in the cuck chair. Scott leaves Maddie to go makeout with Jean without telling either women about one other and then he's doing telepathic roleplay with Emma and having her dress up as HIS wife while they makeout before Jean walks in on them right in the fucking middle of it. He and Emma also makeout literally on Jean's fucking grave. Jean and Logan usually just share a smooch before one or the other kind of back off, Scott just says fuck it and goes all in.
underrated ship dynamic is 'they deserve each other /derogatory'
in plain sight
Kinda of hard to take Jo/tt's true love all that seriously when Scott, one, immediately starts fucking the woman he cheated on Jean with and then kinda talks all kind of shit about her, while said late wife is dead, with Emma while their in bed together.

I know Avatar the last bender is a fantasy marital arts show for kids and I'm being slightly pedantic, but looking back at the show with the eyes of an adult makes realize how abysmal Aang and Katara's relationship is, Aang is like straight up a baby and Katara is 14, but she feels like she should be much older, like about 16, nevertheless that any kind of "romantic relationship" between a fucking 12 year old and a 14 year old is predestined to fail after about the first month. Though, I don't ship kataraang, the ship and the show probably would've fared better having the cast being older teens to early twenties. Like deadass forget Azula supposed to be only 14 years old.
Romy fans ruining the ship for me because they started behaving like a bunch of rabid weridos, at this point I hope they get divorced in canon.
You have to hand it to the Avatar writers, having Aang and Katara be a multicultural/ethnic family and having them rise their kids segergated is certainly a choice. Another thing its actually kind of fucked and also indicative of the writers narrowmindness that the weight was put on Tenzin's shoulders and the implication that neither Bumi and Kya couldn't have air bender children themselves given that you know their half air nomads. I mean Kya and Hakoda weren't water benders either.
Its ashame that Morrison's X: men run probably won't get's it own stand alone adaptation, but will instead just be apart X: men 97's desperate rush to mash as many X: men runs together as quickly as possible in 10 to 8 episode slideshow.
Do I think some racism didn't play a part in Spike not taking off in the comics? Sure! Absolutely, I believe that. However, I just think Evan was not that interesting of a character unfortuntely, many of his character centric episodes consist of him doing what exactly; Playing hooky from school, hiding his bad grades, getting into petty feuds with boys his own age. Like his rivalry with Quicksilver is about as intetesting as watching paint dry and I guess you can say he had something fine going on with the morlocks, but it ends up being sore spot because the writers not only underutilize Storm herself in Evolution, a long pre established character but slapped all her own major plot points on too a made up oc as way her relationships with the other X: men, often times she's just kind of there.
Laura here ends up being the more interesting character by default, a child grown in a lab, groomed to be a weapon of mass destruction, goes awol on her creators after realizing the evil and unfairness done onto her is a much more engaging story line than Evan flunking on his homework for the fucking millionth time.
Zuko had more chemistry with that Jin girl in one singular episode than he ever did with M@i and that is come from someone who ships zutara. 🤗
