Prompt: Braime secret relationship?
Okay. This might be a little out there, but isn’t that what prompts are for? To explore new ideas? Hey, if no one likes it, I don’t have to write it again.
Brienne had not stepped foot in Winterfell since she had joined Ned to fight in Robert’s rebellion all those years ago. The castle had not changed; the people were perhaps older, the air still as crisp. But now she wore a crown atop her head; her reign in its seventeenth year. She had a husband where before she had spurned her third betrothal. She had children: as tall as her, as beautiful as their father. Brienne remembered running through these corridors with Lyanna; praying in the Godswood for a kind life.
She could recall hiding in this tower from the taunts of the Northern lads; children cruel everywhere. Now she hid in the tower with Ser Jaime, Lord Commander of her Queensguard.

I’m not sure how this will come out, but enjoy! <3
It was an unfortunate morning: Jaime Lannister woke to the sun streaming in through his bedroom windows. The thunderstorm of the previous night had cleared, and he woke to a cloudless sky and warm rays of light. Ghastly. Slipping from his bed, Jaime moved to close the heavy crimson drapes. He did not wish the morning light to disturb his slumbering wife, laid bare upon the mattress he had just departed. He prayed to the Gods for rain and thunder, before turning back to his wife.
Oh, what a marvellous thing she was.
Brienne Lannister stirred against the onyx sheets; pale limbs flexing and relaxing in equal measure. Jaime wet his top lip as he stared upon his wife; the only ray of light he would gladly welcome into his home. Oh, how he’d pined for her. Days and nights of torture lusting for a shard of starlight who would never dream of accompanying Jaime back to the crumbling castle of Casterly Rock. But she was here. She’d taken his scarlet cloak around her shoulders and she’d carried not one but two of their children. She welcomed him into her bed and into her heart.
Blue eyes snapped open, immediately seeking his. “Jaime.”
“Good morning, Lady Lannister.” He pounced on their bed like the lion he was. “How did you sleep, Sweetling?”
“I had terrible dreams.”
Jaime grinned. “Me too.”
A flash of blue, and then Jaime’s back was pressed against the mattress. His wife straddled his bare hips; her tall frame looming over his. Jaime had been smitten from the first time she had knocked his foil clear across the room; the blunt edge of her blade digging into the soft flesh of his throat. She was singular in appearance as well as heart: the men of this world were cruel; the women unkind. But as Jaime had often told his wife when he’d courted her: there are no men like me, only me.
Jaime growled as his wife pinned his hands to the pillows. He bucked his hips. “Yes. Yes. Last night, you were…unhinged. You were like some desperate, unyielding creature of the night. You frightened me.” Her grip on his wrists tightened, and Jaime let out a low moan. “Do it again.”
And so she did. Held him against the mattress and took her pleasure from his cock, his mouth. It was only as the morning light grew that Brienne granted him his release. The world shook around him as he came. Brienne then left with a kiss to his lips and pulled a crimson robe over endless miles of creamy skin. He watched Brienne part the drapes for a glimpse of the sun; his darling wife a creature of light, of starlight, no matter how much his darkness had corrupted her.
“Shall we dance later, Sweetling?”
“Of course. But first, breakfast.”
“We’ve worked up quite the appetite.”
Jaime offered his darling wife a wink, before finding soft pants and a matching maroon robe. They walked to the kitchen arm-in-arm; Lord Lannister unable to keep his hands from his lady wife. As soon as they left their room, however, they were accosted by the screams and shrieks of their children. Joanna was playing with rope again; her younger brother Brynden’s pale face now purple.
“Joanna,” Jaime chastised.
“What? I said sword or noose, he said noose!”
Brienne shook her head fondly, and ruffled her daughter’s blonde hair. She stared at Brynden. “Both of you need to work on your skills with a blade. We’ll practice later, with Gregor.”
The Mountain stood, motionless, by the front door. A former man of Jaime’s father, and a man of few words, Gregor was often used as target practice for the children. Jaime offered his wife a helping hand over the last step whilst Brynden crashed to the foyer floor. He gasped, and said, “Can you teach me how to do that knot?”
“Later, son, it’s time for breakfast.” Jaime hustled their children into the kitchen.
As his family settled around the oak kitchen table, Jaime left a series of kisses up and down his wife’s arm. After the death of his sister, and the disappearance of his beloved brother, Jaime thought this house would remain empty. That he would remain empty. But his beloved had filled his life with love and laughter once again, and he would duel anyone who dared to speak ill of Lady Lannister.
As the three fresh graves in the cemetery would testify.
Follow up for lost in time jaime!!! I need to know what happens!!
Here we are! Prompt #100! I hope you enjoy.
“So, do you believe me?”
Jaime turned to Tyrion Lannister, his great-however-many-grandfather, and watched him adopt a polite expression. He laid a hand atop Jaime’s wrist. “I believe you’ve suffered a great deal, Brother. Your time in captivity—”
“—really? I’m suffering from PTSD? And, what, made up this story that I’m from six-hundred years in the future to offer myself a little peace of mind?”
Something which Jaime Lannister, of the year 907 AC, had little of at that very moment. After all, it’s not every day you fell asleep beside your amazing wife and then woke up in the Red Keep during one of the most bloody eras in Westerosi history. Once he’d pinched himself and tried and failed to find phone signal, Jaime had just accepted that he was one of those historians who had gone back in time. And that if he was going to get back to his girls, he’d need some help.
Hence Tyrion Lannister, his great-however-many-grandfather, who was being a right pain in the arse about this whole ‘from the future’ thing. The easiest way to prove himself would be his phone; technological advancements that wouldn’t even be a daydream for another five hundred years. But Jaime couldn’t risk it breaking; the photos of Brienne and Catelyn were more precious than all the gold a Lannister could ever hoard.
“Is there any way I can prove what I’m telling you is true? I’ve read all your journals, you know; I know everything about your life before and after this point. Things that not even your brother would know.”

This is an updated version of an old idea, and prompt #98 of Cubs and Gemstones. I hope you enjoy!
The last thing Jaime remembered was collapsing against his mattress; the weight of another day washing over him. His wrist was healing, the pain was lessening, but what he’d lost still overwhelmed him. And there was still more to lose. His place within the Kingsguard was in question; his love had not yet come to him since his return. Not even the prospect of a good night’s sleep, without binds or chains, could cheer him.
He slept soundly, however, and woke to sunlight pouring through his window in the White Sword Tower. Something nudged his hip. Gods, he had forgotten what a bed felt like. The feathers in this mattress felt softer, more…supportive of his back. Another nudge. Jaime turned over and opened his eyes, blinking against the harsh daylight. His gaze settled, surprisingly, on a child. Piercing blue eyes, an unruly mop of blonde hair; a single tooth buried in her bottom lip. She nudged his hip with her hand.
“Mama says you have to wake up now.”
“What?”
“Mama says you have to wake up.” Then the child turned her head towards the open doorway and shouted, “MAMA! DADDY FELL ASLEEP IN HIS OLD CLOTHES AGAIN!”
Then the child was crawling across the bed and padding towards the open doorway. Rubbing his face clear of sleep, Jaime pulled himself into a sitting position and assessed his surroundings. Clearly he had not fallen asleep in his bed after all; perhaps he had collapsed in some random hovel in Fleabottom in search of his brother. Yet, as he stared around at the chambers he found himself in, Jaime realised he had not seen any like this before. He could not describe it, not even to himself.
“Jaime,” a familiar voice said, interrupting his thoughts. “You fell asleep in your re-enactment clothes again?”
He turned towards the doorway the child had run through. Standing there was his former captor turned companion. “Lady Brienne.”

J/B AU where Jaime Lannister finds himself fascinated with the unusually tall actress Brienne Tarth. When they by chance attend the same gallery opening he charms his way into her heart in record time. (x)
Love King Jaime HC. I often think about the possibility of him ascending to the throne had Tywin entered the Keep before Ned. Also, how did Brienne know about Jaime's affair with Cersei? In my head, she deduced it when he was always present by Cersei's side whenever she gave birth whereas he would be apathetic to her. *Angstfest.* Does Jaime have a good relationship with Brienne's children? And what do the people think of B as a queen? Sorry for the questions.
Thank you; so do I! I mean, honestly, I’m just obsessed with royal AUs in general. And never apologise for questions; I love answering questions! Here we are:
There were a few pieces of evidence that really slotted into place for Brienne. The closeness between the twins; the fact that Cersei is the only woman he spends time with (the King has no whores; no mistresses). But, exactly as you say, Jaime’s presence at the births of Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen, while not present at hers, really cemented her position.
Jaime has a lukewarm relationship, to be fair, with all his children. Joffrey tries and spends as much time with him as possible because his Uncle is King, but Cersei tends to keep them all at arm’s length lest Jaime acts too favourably.
Princess Catelyn is completely dismissive of him: she learnt from a young age that she was not good enough (everyone from her grandfather to the ladies-in-waiting despaired over her being a girl) and does her best to ignore him. Prince Brynden and Princess Joanna tried much longer than their sister, but ultimately they are their mother’s children.
Jaime is not in a good place, btw. He is manipulated constantly: his father takes advantage of Jaime’s anxiety over being king and rules the country; Cersei takes advantage of his emotional state and holds her love just out of reach.
(Cersei, btw, is conspiring to get Joffrey upon the throne. She can’t quite discredit the parentage of the royal children, but she could certainly see them drowned or poisoned or such. Joffrey, rather than Tyrion, would be the logical choice to succeed Jaime upon the throne.)
The people love Queen Brienne. They remember the day she rode into the city and helped the people during the Sack of King’s Landing. They remember how she helped rebuild; made sure the widows and orphans were well cared for. The nobility revile her; the people adore her.
Jaime/Brienne + goodbye scenes
‘Ser Jaime?’ Even in soiled pink satin and torn lace, Brienne looked more like a man in a gown than a proper woman. ‘I am grateful, but…you were well away. Why come back?’ A dozen quips came to mind, each crueler than the one before, but Jaime only shrugged. ‘I dreamed of you,’ he said.
