WE WON WE WOOOON GAAASH
reasons I ship Daximus:
Dane has been the ONLY one looking out for Max the entire series, even the little things that would get Max a simple reprimanding
Dane has always been willing to take the fall for Max
Dane trusts that Max has a good reason for everything he's done even if those reasons could get them all killed - no questions asked, just 100% FAITH
Dane told everyone Max killed Moldaver so Max would for once get respect rather than the abuse
Max actually gets something out of his relationship with Dane, he learns from Dane
Dane BALANCES Max's spontaneous emotional bursts with a cool head and quick planning
Dane tries to keep Max grounded by reminding him reality exists and and it's not good to get lost in dreams
Dane is the ONLY ONE who can get Max to realize it's not safe or healthy to get lost in dreams
Dane tries to keep Max from turning into a cold heartless killer like the Wasteland & Brotherhood want him to be
Dane tries to warn Max that he's changing and maybe not for the better
Because Dane trusts Max's heart, he believed without doubt when Max said he'd met a good person, so Dane sent him off to give the limitless energy to Max's good person.
Max actually cares what Dane thinks of him
seeing Dane's disappointment when Max killed that Brotherhood member in rage was the ONLY thing that Max reevaluate the mass applause
Max worried Dane would be disappointed that he didn't follow through on a plan
Dane assures Max that not killing isn't a bad thing
Dane and Max appreciate and realize each other's differences are good for them
I think Dane and Max balance each other pretty damn well.

Another lyric comic, thanks to this suggestion and that one deleted scene
so many sinister things have been inflicted upon brienne of tarth in her short life but i think honestly the worst that i've seen is her being labelled by some people as a lesbian. GENUINELY! i say this as one myself: she is NOT a lesbian. she could absolutely be queer, sure, but her attraction to men has always been one of the most important aspects of her character, if not THE most important! as independent, guarded, and physically and mentally strong as she is, she also monologues REGULARLY about how beautiful jaime is or renly was! she fought through renly's entire tourney and guarded him fiercely because she LOVED him! hyle tricking her hurt so badly because she WANTED a boy to like her! calling her a lesbian because she's tall and beefy and unattractive is not only a disservice to her character, but it's also just. misogynistic. tall jacked women with short hair can like guys, they can look down to kiss them, and brienne deserves to be swept off her feet by a GUY because she is into those!!!
'There is a sweet innocence about you, child.'
- Catelyn Stark to Brienne of Tarth (A Clash of Kings, Catelyn VII).
'She is such an innocent.'
- Jaime Lannister about Brienne of Tarth (A Storm of Swords, Jaime V).
'And what is it you like in a woman, m’lord?'
'Innocence.'
- Jaime Lannister (A Dance with Dragons, Jaime I).
I’ve seen a distinct lack of nuance when it comes to discussions about Silent Hill 2, more specifically in regard to James as a character. It’s very easy to oversimplify his motivations/actions, when looking at it through a lens of bad actions = bad person. While there’s no justification for him murdering Mary, people often mischaracterize her death being the cause of James hating her.
I’m in no way saying people can’t dislike James, but a lot of the hate I’ve seen reflect misunderstanding his character and really the entire game as a whole. More specifically Ive seen the argument that he was motivated by sexual repression, and since Mary he was sick he hated that he lost that intimacy. But that in itself ignores the core theme of his guilt and how ultimately he didn’t hate Mary, if James killed without remorse then nothing would be drawing him to Silent Hill. He’s facing his guilt, that’s the whole reason characters like Pyramid Head exist in the first place. That same mischaracterization also ignores the significance of different endings and what each of them reflect on James. If he truly hated Mary, he wouldn’t have gone to Silent Hill, especially when considering that he originally went there to kill himself, and how he does in the “In Water” ending.
A scene that’s been used to “support” the idea that James hated her was when he states that he did hate her. But, that scene itself is surrounded by context which shows that while he may have began to hate aspects of Mary (I.e her sickness, and also the abusive tendencies she had during that time), he didn’t truly feel that way. Even Mary herself asks “Then why do you look so sad?” because it wouldn’t make any sense to have James go to Silent Hill if he didn’t care about Mary in the first place. I just find it a bit irritating that people who insist James hated Mary are the same people who think others have misunderstood the game if they like James.
Media literacy has reached an all time low, It’s a shame that a character like James is oversimplified in conversations regarding his morality, because I think it shows that people are willing to accept that a person is just bad because of wrongful action without considering how context may change the discussion.
I think if a person is really stuck in the belief that James never cared for Mary, they experienced Silent Hill with their eyes closed. Because story wise that doesn’t make sense for anything that happens, and does a disservice to the game and how it’s meant to be layered and doesn’t just draw on a single meaning.
A little part of me dies every time I see somebody interpret James Sunderland as an irredeemable abusive horrible man
i am so stuck in 2015 please send help on dragonback

GAME OF THRONES S05E09, "The Dance of Dragons"
Is Lucy meant to be experiencing an orgasm here?
I think symbolically/metaphorically . This is the moment where she realizes she has a taste for violence. To me it’s a parallel to this moment of the ghoul in the Filly episode:
Like Ghouper she’s competitive, she likes violence on some level and we know she’s a crackshot. I feel like we’re going to see this side of her more as the show progresses, but hopefully using it for good.
I think the drugs remove her inhibitions where she would normally feel shame about violence even against feral ghouls which she was previously against.
The fact that she’s lying in her back, blood on her face, while cooper watches mind you, tells me there is a sexual element to this. The whole episode is riddled with sexual tension from the moment she wakes up in the NCR camp to the drug scene. Cooper is also enjoying the show she makes of killing ferals. Not only are connected by their enjoyment of drugs and violence in this episode, but there is also a sort of sexual gratification on both ends.
For cooper it’s probably getting off a bit on the fact that he’s a bad influence on her, for Lucy, it’s finally getting some release from the frustration of being treated like shit by everyone she meets. There is a release for both of them, they’re both finally getting something they’ve been subconsciously craving.
And the fact that she’s always looking to him for approval after each altercation tells me there’s some awareness of an exchange, a push and pull between them that is (and maybe my brain is just broken by kink) almost like a BDSM dynamic.
She needs release, she looks to him for permission, he gives it, they both get release
Rinse and repeat
So orgasm in the literal sense? Perhaps? Maybe a tiny one? But in the psycho sexual dynamic of violence, control, enabling, and freedom between them? Yes. Absolutely.
