So here we are! Two designs for Shiori. Fairytale retellings are some of my favorite books.... which is probably fairly obvious given the majority of the content I've created "redesigns" for.... oh well. Anyway, while this book was a little 'young' to join my personal list of Favorite Books Ever I did really enjoy reading it and it broke me out of a reading slump & has a stunning cover. So praise all around. If I was 16 I'd be all over this book, Tamora Pierce fans will love it, I clearly enjoyed it so much I made these redesigns so you know it's good.

I absolutely recommend it (unless you're looking for a more mature version of this fairytale to which I'd have to direct you to 'Daughter of the Forest' which is sadly not set in a fantasy Japan but is still very good & is for a decidedly older audience).
