morgana pendragon week day 5: favorite outfit(s)
— Wh… What?
There was a complete and instantaneous change in attitude, Ellie’s tentative facade being torn down to show some snarkier colors. “Uh, hell no, lady. You don’t get to save my ass, be friendly about it, and then just walk away.”
She stood planted, hands resting on her hips, and raised her voice even higher. “And fuck you, I’ll outlast you by ten years.”
Morgana sputtered incredulously. Her eyes widened, eyebrows shooting upwards, and she spun around, getting in Ellie's face.
"Excuse me? Saved your arse? In case it might have escaped your notice, Child," Gana uttered coldly, emphasizing the last word. "But, I didn't even feckin' know you were there until ya moved. Amateur move, by the way." She pointed out, taking a step away from Ellie. "It's shite like that that'll get ya killed."
Morgana put her own hands on her hips and looked Ellie over, shaking her head. "I was saving my own arse. Like I said, I'm used to being alone. I'm used to surviving on my own. That's how I made it this far, after all."
Ellie opened her mouth to answer, but the question got her thinking. Did she
know what she was doing? It didn’t take her long to reach an answer: no she did not. She was on her way to investigate a sound when she nearly got her head blown off (a bit of an exaggeration, but one is bound to remember something like that with more detail than it deserves), but the source of her curiosity was bound to be gone by now.
”Uh… No, not really.” Sheepish, almost embarrassed, she gave her reply. ”Why, got somethin’ in mind?”
"I just thought," Morgana started awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck. She was nervous, but exactly what she had to be nervous about was unclear to her. It was frustrating to feel like this.
She started again, swallowing. "I just thought that if you didn't have anybody to travel with..." She trailed off, shrugging. Morgana sighed. "Look, I've been alone for a long long time, and although I'm used to it, I don't exactly like it. So, I thought, 'hey, why not find a friend?'" She chuckled humourlessly, and turned on her heel, calling over her shoulder. "But, whatever, Kid. See ya 'round." Gana paused, and added, "If you live that long."
"So you're the famous Morgana Pendragon..." The Doctor shouted, pinching her cheeks. "That's great! Phenomenal, in fact. Pleasure to meet you. I'm The Doctor, by the way."
Morgana rubbed at her cheek, stepping away from the man in front of her.
"Doctor? As in a physician?" She paused, looking him up and down. "We already have Gaius. Unless you're from a visiting court," She quirked her head. "But, I highly doubt any of our visiting noblemen brought their own personal physicians with them, so who are you really?"
OC RP
Friends on an online game and accidentally meet in person
Khairo bounded up the steps of his apartment building. Swinging into his apartment he plopped down on the couch. He waved his hand in a vague gesture and his laptop flew onto his lap. He opened his internet tab winterwizardofcamelot.com popping up on his screen.
Morgana curled her legs up under her body, leaning her head against the back of the couch. She let out a low yawn, stretching the muscles in her neck. It had been a long suffering day, and there was nothing more that Gana wanted to do than to fall asleep right here, and her body seemed to agree. But....
She balanced her laptop on the arm of the sofa, pulling up her favourite website. Winterwizardofcamelot. Yes, that one. And, well, it was a hobby? Whatever. And the less her friends knew about what she did online, the less they could make fun of her for.
Morgana took a sip of tea from her mug and scowled. Cold. Of course. Her eyes flashed golden, and her tea was steaming once again. She smiled, pleased, and opened the chat window.
HighPriestess-LeFay: Hey :) U on?
"I don’t want to be brave. I just want to be myself."
//I am so tired somebody send the paramedics
"Well, maybe, and here's just a crazy thought, if you had, I don't know, went to bed last night instead of staying up until eleven am.."
//And here she goes again. Gana's been bitching at me all day
"I'll make it simple for you to understand since your sleep addled brain doesn't seem to be functioning properly. When you're up, I'm up. And you kept me up. All. Night. Long."
//Are you done? You've said this about fifteen times since I've been awake.
//And now she's glaring menacingly at me. Again. Cheers, mate.
Morgana Pendragon in The Witch’s Quickening:
"From this day forward, I do not know you. From this day forward, I disown you."
”At this point? I’m on whatever side keeps me from turning,” Ellie admitted, leaving
the statement open for the other to interpret. For as young as she was, it didn’t really hit her what she was implying, but were she to think a bit more she would have immediately retracted her answer. She knew where her lines were drawn, gray as they might be. The girl let her grip on the weapon falter, putting it where she could reach it again if the need arose. Once her hand was free, she took the one stretched out to her and shook it. ”Ellie. Name’s Ellie.”
Good. That was settled. They were familiar with one another, though not exactly 'friends', but nonetheless, allies these days were worth more than gold. Gana had gotten used to being alone. That was just an unfortunate side effect of this world, Morgana knew. But this new girl-- Ellie. Ellie was her name. She had to remember that-- seemed like she could be a powerful asset to have around. After all, as young as she appeared to be, she had lasted this long.
Gana gave a wry grin."So, ki-- Ellie," She amended. "Got any plans?"
Her weapon lowered slightly, but she didn’t let her guard down entirely. The caution in the stranger’s tone was all but reassuring, but it was the statement itself that counted.
”Most’a the people I’ve run into lately would blow my brains out before asking somethin’ like that,” her tone hinted at amusement, but it was relieved above all else, “so I’m going to hope you’re one of the good guys.”
"Well," She said, drawing out the word as she quirked her head to the side. "I guess that all depends on which side you're on. And, I'm going to assume that we're both on the same one." With that, Morgana goes against her better judgement, and puts her gun away. This girl couldn't have been older than fifteen at the most, and if Morgana couldn't even let her guard down around a teenager, things truly have gone to hell.
Holding her hand out, still weary of the pistol the girl was holding, she gave a gentle smile. "I'm Gana. Well," She scowled. "Morgana. But, nobody's called me that since I was your age."
//sighs bc my only actual rp partner isnt back from her mini hiatus yet
