Seasonal Allergies Spell

Allergy season is upon us and sometimes, you try every single over-the-counter drug available but you still end up awake at four am because you can’t breathe through your nose. This spell is for those times.

Ingredients: Match, pen, fire-safe bowl, mortar and pestle, and a sink. 

Step one: Make a sigil. If you’re not so handy with a pen, you can use mine

Not the fanciest, but it’ll do. 

Step two: Take your pen (fine point works best) and draw the sigil on a side of the match. Because of how small you’ll have to make it, I suggest you go simple with the sigil. 

Step three: Strike the match and put it in the bowl, careful to not make it go out. Wait for the entire thing to burn.

Step four: Put the charred match (careful not to burn yourself) into your mortar and grind it up until its a pile of ashes. 

Step five: Wash the ashes into your sink, “draining” your sinuses. Make sure there are no ashes left over in your mortar. 

Remember, magic isn’t a substitute for medical help. Only use this as a last resort.

School being so traumatic people have anxiety dreams about it for life sure doesn't seem uh. Normal

I didn't even have a particularly bad experience at school outside unmedicated ADHD stress but I get school nightmares constantly

I feel like so many people accept this as a quirky fun shared experience. But it's pretty alarming that such a huge chunk of people have RECURRING dreams about forgetting to take a class or complete a project DECADES after leaving the school system

I think tumblr should add a 'king for a day' feature. This would do very little other than add a crown to the chosen king's avatar (how blogs are chosen is not revealed) and enable the king to 'carcinize' blogs, changing their avatar to a crab. I think this would be a good feature because it addresses no problems with the website and also would make some people very mad and that would be funny I think.
