Sirius asked Remus once why he never smiled in pictures, and Remus admitted it was because he thought he looked weird when he did. So from then on, every time someone pulled out a camera, he'd make a ridiculous face, say something absurd, or do whatever it took to make Remus laugh before the picture was taken.
