I think we have confirmation now that Tae has the glossy “him” version of the chair and Jk has the matte “her” version of it and based on one of Tae’s recent videos he no longer used the chairs at his dining table he’s using it in other places like Jk.

Why have I been thinking about these chairs all day and wondering what it means? They don’t have matching chairs but they have I guess you can call it a complimentary set and they used to have the same tableware but I don’t really think you see those things and automatically think they could be dating right? I can’t imagine seeing a friend’s furniture or dishes and buying the exact thing they have but maybe that’s just me and lots of friends like coordinating that kind of stuff. The interesting thing is how different their style is yet somehow the butt chair is the thing they both like lmao.

Taekookers are saying there's a new angle that proves it was a kiss. The angle:

I just wish if so many are going to do what Jkkrs did with the Rose Bowl moment which relied on a camera angle to believe their fantasy about it, that these same Taekookers would shut up about other shippers from now on. There is no higher ground to stand on. Distorting a moment by using camera angles to insist on something you really want to believe happened is something all these shippers you criticize do, so stop and just accept you're the same and that you're not actually interested in what's true. You just want the fantasy.

There's one person on Twitter pushing back against all the posts using the side angles and god bless them, I thought I was alone out here. They keep posting a front angle video to show why they're pushing back and people don't care. So those people deserve any smacks they end up getting eventually. But a handful of other Taekookers are probably more interested in what's real than a fanfiction, believe that the truth is what matters way more than those warm squishy feelings you get when you add explicit romantic or sexual embellishments to a moment.

The red arrow is pointing to Jungkook's chin where you can see it with your own two eyeballs in the video. That is the closest it gets. Explain to me how you think a kiss is bridging that gap, because I Googled the world record for lip fillers and even that woman would have trouble landing a kiss from that distance.

The Citi Field nape kiss is my number one Taekook moment, that is my holy grail. If this was a kiss I'd be screaming about it with everyone else. But I can't ignore that it's not to join 95% of the community in this weird frenzy that has divorced completely from reality. I'd love to talk about how cute this moment is, but I can't because it has been turned into something else and no one wants to engage in a discussion about anything other than a kiss they have imagined.

The Citi Field nape kiss didn't need imagining.

As I said previously, the most interesting thing about The Nape Kiss is that Tae was intentionally hiding it from cameras. This is even proven on the official blu-ray concert release that I have. It doesn't require any embellishment. All the pieces are right there, plainly visible. From all angles.

I got blocked by two moots here after I answered an ask about this. So while I initially thought the Tumblr community was more grounded than Twitter, I see that it's not overall. I'll type into the void like I do over there if that's all I can do. But it does suck that there are so few that want to actually prioritize what's real and engage with that. I don't trust the AU and fantasy obsessed to do right by Taekook at the end of the day. I just see other shippers who will swear they care about the real humans involved and their health and happiness, and then drop one when they get disappointed by them not behaving the way they want. You may not be doing it now, but I've been here for almost ten years and I've seen it happen over and over and over again.

But, how does Jungkook stay so purposefully close to Taehyung when they walk together? They never jostle. They walk like one person. There is forever a gravitational pull with Jungkook just slightly behind-even when side by side. It is impressive, right?

Ive always said they’re able to be physically close in a way that most people would find annoying and uncomfortable and it’s kind of amazing to watch because they don’t seem to notice it. They walk really close together sometimes and I’ve never seen them trip each other, except that one time Jk tripped and fell face first into the back of Tae’s neck 😜. They’re also able to eat comfortably sitting super close to each and that’s the one that always gets me because how can you enjoy your food but somehow they do.

It’s been a long time since Tae told fans how scary it was when fans followed him and called his phone so I can’t imagine how bad things must be for him to make that post some 6 or 7 years later and we’re not even at the halfway point of the tour yet.

I just saw a comment saying Taekookers should try to speak less in absolutes like stop saying things like they’re always together because it sets up a dynamic where taekookers who are less sure get really upset and have doubts when something like Tae wiping the straw before drinking after Jk happens and I agree with the general point but I think it makes me realize things work differently in my mind because I never take of all of these things to be so literal.

When I see someone say they’re always together to me it means they obviously spend a lot of time together because of course they’re not always together we can see they’re not always together and they do things separately all the time so I guess I assumed more people thought like me than they actually do lmao. I think the other thing is I don’t look at everything on an individual level it’s more the preponderance of evidence that fuels my belief so a think like Tae wiping the straw doesn’t mean much either way it’s just a thing that happened.

Another reminder that what Taekook are doing on stage during this tour is no different from what they've done on every previous tour. They're not freer, they're not bolder. Anyone trying to say it's different is either uninformed (new and eating up bs narratives) or lying.

Perhaps the most famous Taekook piggyback ride happened almost exactly ten years ago. We were yelling about this when I became a Taekooker in 2016.

Seeing posts saying that Jungkook is reciprocating affection which is different from before, implying that it was one-sided the way that antis always have to drag both him and Tae, to argue that now is different is WILD. At the end of the day it's going to be me and like ten other Taekookers who have been here through all of this that don't ever throw them under the bus for a fantasy.

I’m not going to argue with anyone about the tattoo mic thing but I need to see a longer video or something before I believe it and even if I see a longer video I’m not as sure as everyone else seems to be that Tae’s mic and JK’s tattoo are connected and it’s one of those things we’ll probably never get answered so it’s not worth talking about to me.

Maybe Jk had an inner ear issue that was throwing off his balance that day that’s the only explanation I can think for him tripping and falling with his face perfectly in the nape of Tae’s neck two times

One more thing, the reason you’re seeing more Taekook in official content is because Hybe is struggling and they’re using them to draw people back in. They got to do that Japanese show because they’re the most popular in Japan and BH has always put them together more prominently in Japanese content.

I just saw that it’s the 6th anniversary of Tae and JK’s 2020 live which was the first time they did a live together in I don’t know how many years and I think it’s the last time they did a live together in the same room without another member.

I remember that day so clearly I won’t compare it to the Dream Premiere because it’s not close but that collective excitement was so much fun which is nice because I don’t think the live itself was that entertaining 😬. If you haven’t watched it before I would recommend it because I think it’s interesting for what’s being said and what’s not being said.
