hiiii welcome! I have been debating making this blog for ages ngl

I've been deeply obsessed with the 80s for a few months now so here's the main things I will probably be posting about:

♡ 80s new wave and synthpop! (mainly nik kershaw, the Thompson twins and madness but I like wayyy too many artists to list here)

♡ physical media! I have a decent music collection of tapes, vinyls and cds so I will probably be showing them off

♡ 80s movies! I'm such a sucker for 80s movies (again, I like wayyy too many to list here)

♡ vintage fashion! A bit less likely than the other three but I do loveeee 80s alternative fashion

Idk who came up with the term "one hit wonder" but they suck ass. Labeling musicians and bands one hit wonders saddens me, because in many of the cases (like Nik Kershaw and The Buggles) they have so many great songs, but their skilled musicianship gets overlooked and often people don't even give them a try besides the hit song, which isn't often even their best one.
