Actually I have a lot of tlldob HCs maybe I’ll even post some eventually but one of the most specific about Rael is that he tries hard to be like ‘cool tough men’ but actually he’s more child-like (probably bc of trauma or neglect in childhood)

Like, the whole story for me is that trying to do the thing rad people do Rael dies because of overdose (in the ‘Cuckoo Cocoon) and all the stuff happens further is his way from purgatory to redemption

But if it was less pessimistic Rael is just hard teen with these crazy dumb views in life :P
