This kid right here! The other half of my two greatest blessings! He is beginning his next journey by concluding this first educational hurtle. I am so extremely proud of my son and the man his becoming and the fact that his heart is for making this world a better place for all! He believes that studying and learning how our legal system works will help him make that contribution. This past Monday was one year since my Mom passed and it’s been a rough one! But I just got this in the mail from my sister and it totally made my day...week...month and year! When I opened this I hollered in joy...I mean I literally screamed in pleasure. You see, this is how my Mom greeted her loved ones...so for me it was either “Hello, Renea, Darling” or just “Hello, darling!” So when I opened this huge box that I thought contained three 50g skeins of yarn...I talking out loud to the dog, making fun of her about Big this box is only to get past the styrofoam peanuts to see a framed picture with this calligraphy. It’s not like there won’t be more tears and many more trigger moments that make me feel the depth of my loss all over again. But at this moment I feel joy. Joy in the memory of the moments that I heard her say...(look left) I had to share this moment with you who may have also had losses that make this season a little bittersweet. Chin up, remember all the wonderful memories that death cannot take. Be thankful for every moment you had and share those memories with others to keep them fresh. Thank you for reading this and sharing one of my memories! ❤️
