I AM REVAMPING BODY POSITIVITY TUESDAYS, WITH A TWIST!!!

What we are going to do, Adara, Amber, Christina, and Kayla, will be accepting Submissions of body positivity on a different day of each week.  All of the submissions will be reblogged to this blog here which will serve as an archive of all body positive posts.  You can also submit things to the main blog anytime and we will post it!

I really hate how people think sometimes. And as much as you try to explain it to some, they never change their way of thinking. It’s awful and I know the feeling. You are wonderful and I’m sorry that you have to hear that.

Thanks sweetie.  It's been interesting dealing with it, since I've never really had to before.  But one day we won't have to "convince" people we are anything.  They will just accept it.

Yesterday, a guy was hitting on me, and after I told him I was gay, he said "aww you're too pretty to be gay!" Another I've heard is "you just haven't had the right man."

It's interesting to hear these things. People assume I am straight, and are usually very kind to me. But once they learn I am a lesbian, they feel justified in telling me what I am, or what I need. I'm thankful that this is the most I have really endured thus far.  My femininity often protects me from the people who would hate me because of who I love. If I didn't have that, I know my world would look much different.

i’m just going to say this now - this is not an “attention whore” post - all the hate on my dash hurts.  even if its not directed at me, it hurts to see. a lot of people are getting hate for just defending someone (who got hurt by hate).  thats sick.  this girl is so lucky she has a friend who would defend her so much, and now the friend is getting hate for defending.  neither of them have done anything wrong

all of this is why tumblr is not fun anymore.  i joined to get away from my problems, and now i’m seeing them on my dash almost everyday.  

why anyone would send hate in the first place doesn’t make sense.  just stop
