A sketch of my newest custom Mycena Cave pet, I envisioned her as a human.
An edited mock-up of a current custom - I’ve added the clothing and hair, and removed two of the tails to make it a single fluff ball at the back.
Flat colour mock-up with toggleable necklace for Mycena Cave.
I entered an event on Mycena Cave to design bits of a method writer. I went with a “calligraphy and coffee” theme - the top image is of all three pieces combined (item, coat colour and a little je ne sais quois - the hair).
A gift piece for a friend, their Mycena Cave Kelph character, Bea.
A mock-up of an existing custom, Merciful Dawn. I added the template hooves (had to trace another as the line art for them is unavailable) and made some new ears <3
A mock-up of a reworked custom. Looking at it again, I could have made the line art darker and cleaned up some of the recoloured markings, but as a first attempt at an existing pet, I’m happy with it overall.
Practised some art by completing a picture for Jacq. There are a lot of things I could have done better but considering my time away from art, I’ll consider this one completed.
My next attempt at getting back into art, I’ve gone with testing a new style. Her name is Colette and this is what she would see in the Mirror of Erised. I learned a lot doing this piece (though I reverted back to my painterly style on the lips because I couldn’t figure out cell shaded ones), and I like the overall look despite some errors.
It’s been three years, but my new years resolution is to get back into my art. My first attempt was a new mock-up for Mycena Cave, as I owed it to someone many years ago.
Attempting to get out of my massive art rut, I sketched up one of my characters in a new art program. Krita brushes are nice, but the shortcuts are taking some getting used to.
My take on a Mycena Cave character, commissioned by someone as a gift to another. Practicing anime styled stuff again, it’s really hard to get the face right.
Quick sketch to experiment further with different styles.
Breaking out of an art rut with an experimental style. This brush in Fire Alpaca is nice.
I’ve started a raffle on Mycena Cave for my artwork! I’m desperately trying to save for my custom drasilis there, so all art sales (at Pay-What-You-Want prices) will net you one ticket to win a bunch of other art! Feel free to message me for any questions or additional details.
A mock-up for a contest. I liked it so much, I almost wanted to keep it! I enjoyed this one, it was some nice artistic freedom.
A mock-up commission from Mycena Cave. PWYW shop open here.
