Regret - Chapter 2 (Sweet Pea x Reader)
Sweet Pea’s fist collided with the nearby wall, creating a small crack there. His knuckles were fully bloodied, and it dripped down his clothes. The music had already stopped, and everybody stood in silence, until Toni went up to Sweet Pea and slapped him across the face.
She crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at him heatedly, “I’m sorry, Sweets. But I thought you were done with Valerie? Or did you lie to me that day?”
He kept his face down, not bothering to look at his friend. Fangs shook his head in disappointment, and he came up to him, grasping his arm and dragging him away.
“Maybe you should have spent less time with that Serpent girl and paid more attention to your girlfriend.” Reggie said loudly behind his back, “But after all, she does have some class. Picking me, a Mantle, over a nobody like you.”
Sweet Pea clenched his fists tightly, wanting to turn back, but Fangs kept pushing him forward, “He’s not worth it, dude.”
With one last glance at Toni and the others, Sweet Pea left the party to find Y/N.
————-
Y/N didn’t know how long she was walking, maybe even for hours. The music and the lights seemed to fade away, leaving her in complete darkness. She walked down the road barefoot as she held her heels in one hand.
Her mascara was completely stained, since she had been crying on her way. She didn’t know where she could go - Jughead was probably at the party, same goes to Toni and Cheryl. She couldn’t stay with Fangs since Sweet Pea would be able to track her down quickly. She didn’t have a home anymore since that was Sweet Pea’s trailer.
She groaned in frustration, sitting down right on the side of the road. She didn’t care anymore. She covered her face with her small hands, and she simply sat there. She remembered the time when she was a five year old. Whenever she felt scared, she would simply cover her head, thinking that all of the monsters would go away. While the imaginary monsters did, the demons in her head were still there.
Y/N dropped her heels on the pavement, not bothering to keep them anymore. Sweet Pea bought them for her, because he-
No.
She wouldn’t think about him anymore. The girl he was so cosy with was definitely Valerie, his old who left for Greendale when they broke up. He promised that he was done with her and her lies, though it didn’t seem that way. She knew they had hooked up before, so what was stopping them now?
She grabbed her phone, only to find about ten missed calls from Sweet Pea, five from Toni and one from an unknown number. She didn’t even notice that her phone was ringing.
With a little hesitation, she went through her contacts list until she found the right person. Her finger hovered over his name for a few seconds until she clicked it.
“Juggy, p-please pick me up.”
“Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be there in 10, Y/N” She heard a sigh and some fumbling on the other line.
Y/N turned her phone off, waiting for him patiently.
—————————
When she heard a familiar roar of engine, she stood up instantly. Jughead had been her friend for a long time, maybe they had been hanging out even when they first started walking. She threw her arms around him, silently thanking him for picking her up at 3 AM.
“I’m so sorry, Juggy, but I didn’t know who to call.” Tears were threatening to break out, and she placed her face against his leather jacket.
“No, it’s totally okay. Betty’s worried about you too.” He mumbled in her hair, and patted her awkwardly on the back.
“I don’t want to go back to his trailer.”
“What did he do?” He slightly leaned back, staring at her hurt expression.
She couldn’t speak properly, so he only heard something along the lines of “cheater.” His expression hardened, and he clenched his knuckles a little. Without wasting time, he handed her a helmet and told her to get on.
Jughead and Y/N sped down the streets of Riverdale.

Sweet Pea dating a Latina HC:
Request by Anonymous: Headcanons for Sweet Pea dating a Latina. Note: This is my first headcanon ever, so I hope you like it.
• Y/N was a foreign transfer student in Riverdale High. Right from the beginning, she became friends with Veronica and Betty. They hung out together a lot, and they explained the events that took place in the town before, and the feud between Northside and Southside.
• She was helping Veronica to set up a table at the entrance of the school to welcome the Serpents.
• When Sweet Pea walked in, her eyes slightly widened and she quickly tugged Ronnie towards her, while harshly whispering, “Who is that?!”
• Veronica smiled at her mischievously. She left Y/N to give SP a tour.
• They instantly clicked, and started hanging out even more.
• SP usually had his arm slung around her shoulder, while pulling her close to him, even though they weren’t dating yet.
• He also liked when Y/N talked to him in Spanish, even though he mostly didn’t get what she said.
• Once, he decided to ask Y/N if she wanted to come to a party on the Southside. He expected her to decline politely, but her answer surprised him.
• His jaw literally dropped when he saw her outfit - a short dress with his serpent jacket around her shoulders, since it was cold. He honestly wanted to ask her to keep the jacket.
• Reggie usually tried to flirt with the Latina, but SP would usually appear to her side in a second, because he hated bulldogs a lot.
• That night, Y/N whispered to him “Me encantas...” SP stared at her confusedly.
• When she pulled him in for a kiss though, he finally understood.
Will there be a part two to Regret? 💓💓
Initially, I wasn’t planning to write part 2. But since so many people want it, I guess I will:)
Regret (Sweet Pea x Reader)
Note: This was requested. Reggie and Sweet Pea end up fighting, and Y/N, who has been dating Sweets, tries to stop them and gets hit while trying to.
Y/N couldn’t believe she actually agreed to go to Cheryl’s party with Sweet Pea. Since Cheryl and Toni started dating, she seemed to start welcoming the Southside in her house. As she always said, innovation was better than following the crowd. Y/N felt self-conscious, as she tried to tug her short black dress down. She knew it wouldn’t cover up her fragile skin, but it made her feel better.
“Where is Sweets?” She mumbled, crossing her arms against her chest as she tried to get through the people who were blocking her way. She lost Sweet Pea in the crowd when he went to get drinks for them. But he hadn’t come back for five minutes. What was taking him so long?
Over the roar of music, a distant, familiar voice could be heard. She couldn’t quite make out the words, but laughter rang in her ears and wouldn’t stop.
“Sweets?” She questioned, as she stared at the scene in front of her, but SP took no notice of her. Instead, he was staring at a Southsider girl with a boyish grin on his face. Y/N froze in her spot, and for a second, it felt like she couldn’t breathe. A feeling of betrayal was slowly creeping up on her, but she knew that she was probably overreacting. She noticed that the girl’s hand was squeezing his bicep, but Sweet Pea didn’t seem to mind at all. As tears started gathering in Y/N’s eyes, she turned around quickly, walking away from the scene.
——————————————
It felt like hours, as she sat on the stairs of the house. She wanted to leave badly, though she knew she didn’t have a ride. Toni was hanging out with Cheryl, Fangs was probably drunk, while Sweet Pea...
She didn’t even want to finish it. Did he even notice her absence? Or maybe he preferred that girl over her? To be fair, they had only been dating for two months. Many people wouldn’t call it serious, but she felt a special connection with him. Did he think the same way? There were so many questions she wanted to ask.
“Y/N? Why are you out here?” A deep voice questioned from the porch of the house.
She quickly wiped the remaining tears away, trying to make herself presentable, “What do you want, Reggie?”
Reggie walked down the stairs, getting closer to the girl, “Jeez, princess, so hostile.” He rolled his eyes at the comment, as he waited for her answer patiently. When she said nothing, he simply raised his eyebrows in response.
“I-I needed some fresh air.”
“Or you wanted to get away from your boyfriend, who’s snogging that Serpent slut?”
Before she could stop herself, she quickly shouted, “What?!”
“I didn’t expect anything else from Southside scum. They’ve got no class, after all.” Reggie replied, as he tried to keep a monotonous expression, though his lips were slightly turned upwards.
“S-Sweets wouldn’t do that. He’s not like that.” Y/N shook her head, as her head started spinning. She wanted to go home.
“Bulldogs aren’t. Serpents usually do that.” He winked at her, as he grabbed her arm softly, “Tell you what, princess. You need to show him that you don’t need him.”
“What are you playing at, Reggie?”
“You’ll find out soon.”
——————————————
The music got louder, and neon lights started flashing everywhere. Y/N was dancing on a table in the middle of the room, swaying her hips to the rhythm of the music. She held the bottle of alcohol in one hand, taking a sip every now and then. She lost count already of how many drinks she had. One? Four? She wasn’t sure. Her dress had ridden up, her bare pale thighs showing, though she didn’t try to cover it up anymore. She looked down, and she found Reggie standing nearby. She winked at him, biting her lip slightly and decided to jump down. She almost fell down, had Reggie not caught her.
They locked eyes for a minute.
——————————————
Sweet Pea was quite shocked when Fangs appeared out of nowhere and grumbled something along the lines of him needing to take care of Y/N.
“What do you mean? She’s probably talking with Toni or someone.” Sweets shrugged, as he stared at his friend with a confused expression.
“She had too many drinks and ended up dancing on the table. Maybe you should take her home.” Fangs finally said as he took another sip of his cheap vodka.
“Y/N started drinking?” SP was surprised to hear that his girlfriend touched alcohol at all. She never drank anything, not even beer. He quickly started running down the stairs to get to his girlfriend before she did something.
——————————————
Sweet Pea definitely didn’t expect to see this sight in front of him, though. Reggie and Y/N were making out right in the middle of the crowd. He clutched her long hair tightly, groaning when she tried to pull away. People were cheering them on, and Sweet Pea saw Toni standing among the people with a shocked expression.
He was consumed by pure rage, and he started walking towards them. Every muscle in his body was tense, as he felt a mix of emotions. He felt used, betrayed and most importantly, he wanted to strangle Reggie. He pushed Y/N away from him and went to punch Reggie. When his fist collided with his jaw, a loud crack was heard. He fell down the floor, wailing in pain, and Sweet Pea only saw red. He went to punch him with his leg, but before he could do that, Reggie was already back on his feet, attacking him back. A fight broke out right in front of Y/N. She screamed at them to stop many times, though they weren’t listening.
Sweet Pea stumbled across the room, crashing into a table.
“Jordan!” She had never used Sweet Pea’s real name before, but she screamed out as Reggie hit him again. The routine would repeat, and sometimes it would be Sweet Pea hitting him. She finally made up her mind, she would stop them.
She jumped right in the middle of them instinctively, and she tried to grab Reggie’s arm to stop him from hurting her boyfriend. Before Sweet Pea could register that Y/N was standing in front of him, the damage was already done. He had punched her in the face, and then, everything had happened in a blur.
He could see her tears trailing down her cheeks, disappearing in the darkness. Her dress was already ripped in different parts, though it still looked elegant on her. He could feel her pleading, helpless eyes on him before, but now, she simply stared at him blankly. Reggie was shouting at him, telling him that he stopped on a much lower level by hitting a girl.
Y/N’s headaches seemed to get worse, and she seemed to sober up a little. She shook her head, mumbling out, “I’m done, Sweets.”
Toni tried to get through the crowd to comfort her friend, though before she could do that, Y/N ran out of the party.
She left, filling Sweet Pea with regret.

Violet - Chapter 2 (Sweet Pea x OC)
Click here to read the previous chapter.
Everything happened in a blur. Violet stopped in front of White Wyrm, not bothering to park normally. She jumped out of her car, placing Toni’s uninjured arm over her shoulder and attempted to get her inside. They stumbled down the stairs, catching the attention of many. The certain tall Serpent, Sweet Pea, appeared next to them in a flash, taking Toni from her arms and lifting her up bridal-style. He furrowed his eyebrows, as he slightly glared at Violet.
She seemed taken aback by such reaction, though when she opened her mouth to speak, no sound came out. Toni was taken away quickly, so she could get first aid help.
—————————————————————
Violet glanced at the clock - it was already 2 AM, and she still wasn’t home yet. Her phone had died already, and she probably had a lot of missed calls from her mother. She hoped that she was still working a night shift in the hospital, so she wouldn’t notice her absence.
She let out a long, drawn-out sigh, leaning against the chair in the corner of the room. The Serpents were staring at her curiously, though nobody made a move to get known to her. They simply ignored her and continued their game of pool, or drinking.
After what felt like eternity, Violet was led to Toni’s room, where she could finally check up on her.
Toni’s arm was fully bandaged, and her small, fragile face was covered in many cuts and gashes. One scar stretched over her whole right cheek, and Violet felt a pang of guilt. She couldn’t look at her face - it was her fault. If she had saved her earlier, she wouldn’t have looked so bad.
“So, what were you doing with an outsider? A Ghoulie?” Sweet Pea spoke up, as he crossed his arms over his chest. His gaze hadn’t left Violet since she got here. He always had a small frown on his face and he mostly stood in a defensive stance.
Before anybody could interject, Violet’s face flushed red. She understood what he was implying, or why he was keeping a close watch on her constantly. She knew that he wanted her to be the culprit, the one who had caused Toni all of the pain, but she wouldn’t play his stupid game.
“For your information, Sweet Pea, she has saved me from the Ghoulies. She stole their car and fought them off, while they were inflicting scars on me. She was there for me, so don’t treat her like shit.” Toni finally said, as she scoffed at Sweet Pea’s comment.
“And why were you there at that time?” He still wouldn’t leave her alone with the questioning.
Violet rolled her eyes, “I was walking by.” There was no way she could tell them that Malachai offered to hang out in their hide-out, when she was in the den of Serpents.
“Sure, walking by a Ghoulie hide-out at night? I think not, doll.” He kept going on, trying to push her every button, “You only hang out with Malachai and his Ghoulies, so do you expect me to believe you have nothing to do with them?”
Fangs fake coughed, trying to earn their attention, but failing miserably, “SP, maybe you shouldn’t be so hard on her. She did save Toni, after all.”
“Look, I don’t want to do anything with Malachai.” Violet said, while playing with her black dress, which was already dirtied, “H-He approached me today. To see whether or not I wanted to re-build our friendship that we had five years ago. But he changed. I changed.”
That comment certainly seemed to quieten Sweet Pea’s comments, and Fangs placed a comforting arm on her shoulder, “I know you’re new, but you need to know how things work around here. He probably asked you to hang out, because he wants you to join them.”
Violet’s eyes widened, and she suddenly felt her stomach drop. She could feel her pulse pounding in her temple, but she managed to calm herself.
“I have to go.” She murmured, abruptly standing up, “It’s great to see you’re recovering Toni. Will I see you at school tomorrow?”
“Of course, Vi. Not showing up would be a sign of weakness.” Toni winked, slightly straightening up in her bed.
She left the room quickly, not bothering to stay another minute. She needed to get out - she didn’t want to be caught in another gang drama. Events of what happened in Greendale seemed to be coming back in her mind, and she desperately tried to push them away. Her breathing got rapid and shallow, and she leaned against the wall outside, trying to calm down.
Her worrying was interrupted by a warm, rough hand touching her shoulder. When she glanced back to stare at her intruder, she let out a relieved sigh. It was just Sweet Pea.
“Let me take you home. It’s too late.” He was concerned, she could see it. It was such a transition from frowning all the time.
“No, it’s totally alright. I can get there on my own by the car.” She said, trying to brush his arm off.
Sweet Pea chuckled, “By a stolen vehicle of Ghoulies? You’ll either have problems with them or the Sheriff.”
“I’m taking you home. Get on.” He insisted, leaving no room to argue.
“Fine, SP, I hope you’re not planning to abduct me or something.” She joked, trying to lighten the situation.
“Of course not, doll. But I think I just abducted your heart.” He winked, letting a smirk stretch across his face. Violet’s jaw dropped at this comment, and her cheeks were slightly tinted red. She wanted to retort, to think of a good comeback, but she couldn’t say anything. Instead, she started stammering over her words and glaring at him.
Sweet Pea just shook his head, handing her a helmet and getting on the motorcycle. Violet stared at it for a few seconds, before finally pushing her fear away and joining him. She let her petite arms wrap around his torso, and she placed her head on his back.
“Sweetheart, you’re clutching me too hard.”
“Right, sorry.”

Violet - Chapter 1 (Sweet Pea x OC)
Violet took long strides down the corridors of South Side High, earning confused stares from the people. Her brunette hair was pulled back in a messy bun and her cherry red lipstick was slightly stained. As she pushed the cafeteria doors open, she glanced over at the tables, trying to find a free spot. When she finally did, she let out a contented sigh and plopped down on the chair, taking out her laptop.
She was the new girl in the school, though Violet doubted that anyone noticed. She was an easy prey, many would say. She was under the constant watch of different gangs - she was closely studied, scrutinized, and yearned after. Since she had no ties to gangs that they knew of, she became a target fast.
Violet shook her head, trying to get rid of the unwanted thoughts and tried to focus on the story in front of her. She liked writing in her free time, which she scarcely had anymore. She had to do most of the chores around the house and study, which most of the students didn’t do here.
Hearing a wolfish whistle, she groaned, shutting her laptop and placing it in her bag.
A few ghoulies, dressed in ripped jeans, decided to approach her and get in her personal space.
She was met by brown chocolate eyes and a sinister smirk, as the ghoulie leader leaned slightly back.
“Malachai.” Violet hissed, sounding like a wounded cat, and she hugged her bag closer to her, “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“Heard there was a new girl at school, so decided to check in.” A grin slowly played on Malachai’s lips, “Never expected to find you here, though.”
“What do you want?”
“Ouch, is that a way to treat your old friend?” He faked a hurt expression, as he started twirling the strand of her long hair in his fingers.
Violet let out a long, drawn-out sigh as she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, avoiding his face. She knew Malachai since she was ten years old. They used to always play together, which would usually result in him pulling her hair, or teasing her and making her cry. They used to run around the neighborhood, trying to scare the people who were walking, or they would ring the doorbell and run away to safety, where nobody would catch them.
Malachai stared at her intently and understood that she was having an inner battle. He tilted her chin slowly, forcing her to make eye contact with him.
“O-Old friend, who threw me away after he joined the Ghoulies.” She finally stated, refusing to look away.
Malachai threw his head back, letting out a cackle, and his fellow gang members joined in. The Serpents were observing them from a distance, and Violet noticed a certain tall, dark-haired boy, whose gaze was fixed on her.
“Uh, uh, eyes on me, dear.” Malachai turned her head forcefully again, tearing her gaze away from the brown-eyed Serpent.
“Malachai, don’t do this again. Please.” Violet mumbled, trying to lean as further as possible from his touch.
“Let me prove it to you that I’m still the same. I thought I would never see you again.” His playful demeanor disappeared, and she felt the air of seriousness, “After I joined the gang, you left Riverdale for good. You didn’t give me a chance to explain.”
“There was nothing to explain, Malachai.”
“You know that’s not true.” He whispered, his eyes darting towards Ghoulies, “Let me prove it to you.”
Violet shook her head frantically, “Malachai, I don’t know you anymore. It has been five years since we last saw each other and I-“
Before she could continue, she was interrupted by Malachai placing a hand over her mouth. She looked at him questioningly, though he didn’t seem to explain anything. Instead, he slid a note in her leather jacket and winked, before getting up from the chair and re-joining the Ghoulies.
“Don’t complicate things further, and just come.”
Without explaining anything, Malachai disappeared into the crowd of students, leaving her with a surprised expression.
——————————
Violet couldn’t believe she was doing it. She stood in front of an abandoned building, dressed in a short black dress and some combat boots. Her hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail, and she clutched a note in her small hand.
“The note obviously said this address...” She mumbled quietly, taking in her surroundings completely. Why did she decide to trust Malachai, after all this time? Why did he tell her to get there at 9 PM sharp?
She looked down on her phone, only to find that it was still 8:37 PM. She was a little early, maybe that’s why she didn’t see him anywhere yet.
Loud, roaring engines were nearing the place, and she finally understood that she was still standing near the entrance of the yard. What if they were Serpents, or maybe other gang members? What if Malachai wouldn’t be there? There were so many questions she was searching for for for for the answers for, but that could wait. Her instincts soon took over her rational mind, and she dashed in the yard without wasting time. Finding a perfect hiding spot near the dumpster, she ducked down, trying to see what was happening.
After many quiet minutes, few figures emerged from the dark while dragging a stranger across the pavement. She saw a flash of dark pink hair before the stranger was thrown down. Violet heard a feminine yelp, as the figures began closing in on her. Her eyes widened in realization, as she saw the marks on those figures’ leather jackets. They were Ghoulies.
She was in a Ghoulie territory, probably witnessing a crime being committed.
“I wonder what the serpent slut was doing on our turf, huh?”
“Maybe we could take care of her pretty little face. What do you think, Jack?”
So many different voices joined in the conversation, and Violet suddenly felt sick. How could they talk in such vile, disgusting ways about a woman? How could they drag her across the dirt, and call her a slut?
“Gentlemen, let’s not get dirt on our hands tonight. We need to stick to the initial plan and wait for those idiots to get here to take her back.” A deep, commanding voice finally spoke up, leaving no room for argument.
Her train of thoughts was interrupted, and she suddenly became alarmed - she recognized that familiar voice. It was Malachai.
Violet felt a pang of betrayal and disappointment, but she never expected him to change his ways. She constantly heard about his criminal record, how many times he has spent in jail, and so on. He even joined a gang and became a leader - how could she believe that he was different?
“Do you honestly think that you will get away with it?” The dark haired girl spoke, her pink highlights standing out in the darkness. Then she giggled quietly, and Violet could see that the Ghoulies were fuming. She could hear the sounds of switchblades, and she froze in her spot.
They were going to hurt her.
Violet managed to calm down slightly, before beginning to formulate a plan. She noticed a car in the nearby corner - it seemed brand new, and something that Ghoulies could probably not afford. It was obviously stolen.
Violet slowly glided across the cold floor, while the Ghoulies were mocking and taunting the Serpent girl. She finally reached the car, opened the door slowly and crawled in.
A mischievous glint appeared in her green eyes, as a smile stretched across her lips. This would be so easy.
————————
Scratch that, it wasn’t easy. As the engine roared alive, she almost crashed into some Ghoulies who were circling the girl and inflicting scars on her. The Serpent didn’t even waste any time and jumped straight into the car as Violet opened the door for her quickly. Her hands were still tied, but the idiots didn’t bother tying her legs.
Violet turned the car at every angle, going back and forward to avoid the ghoulies.
“Turn right and keep going forward to get out of the hideout.”
She didn’t need to be told twice, as she pushed down the pedal hard.
————————-
After half an hour of driving, she was sure that the Ghoulies lost them already. She could finally drive back to the South Side, drop the girl off and call it a day. The whole ride they had been silent and very tense, though, after some time, Violet managed to relax. She learned that the girl’s name was Toni, and she went to Southside High with her. Toni was still wincing in her seat, her hands were clutching her arm tightly.
Violet quickly pulled over her car, and stopped right on the road. Toni looked up at her, though her eyes seemed glassy and full of pain.
“Are you bleeding? Let me see.” Violet spoke as calmly as possible, though inside, she was freaking out. Toni moved her hand away from her arm, only to find it fully bloodied. The blood was everywhere; it coated her whole left arm, and she was sure she was losing a lot of blood already. How could she have not noticed this?
“We need to get you to a hospital!” She suddenly shouted, pushing down the pedal hard.
“N-No hospitals. White Wyrm. South West.” Those were the only words that were murmured before Toni passed out.
Without wasting another second, Violet hit the gas, speeding across the roads of Riverdale.
