This alien like "pandal" from the Durga Puja festival is representative of the diversity which Calcutta brings to the table and how willing the artists of the city are to transcend established cultural identities. Durga Puja is a time when the creativity and energy of the soul of Calcutta is on full display. No matter what the hour is, people will be out on the streets.
