none of these belong to ai. these are all what human writers have been writing since day one, way before ai was invented. ai was trained to mimic how human writers write — so em dash, not x not y but z and short sentence stacking would never have been used by ai at all if ai hadn’t learned and mimicked them from human writers.

no, you are not “fighting against ai” by accusing every work that has em dash, not x not y but z or short sentence stacking in it as ai-generated, you are helping ai harm the writing community by engaging in witch hunt and scaring human writers away from creating/sharing their works for fear of being wrongly accused of using ai.

speculations, accusations and ai witch hunt harm the writing community as much as ai does, if not more.

The guy in the middle is Lorens, a lieutenant of the imperial legion who made it his mission to hunt down a particularly difficult werewolf who happened to raid their imperial camps near Rifton... twice. He's half nord, half breton 👀

He's technically not a new oc okay... I created him WITH Ted; he started existing when I made Ted, they came in a double pack ☝️😔 I really liked the idea of Ted having to face consequences for his unintentional outbursts... Lorens is the consequence. He won't rest a single day until he has the beast's head impaled on a stick 🙂‍↕️

I just wanted to say that I really really appreciate all the support and love everyone has been showing for my ocs 😭🩷 It makes me so happy that I could create characters that so many other people also find joy in and I'm looking forward to share more art of them in the future 🫶 And I'm also really happy you guys put up with my occasional, endless yapping about their lore 😔 I always read through all your tags on the reposts and some of them had me laugh tears sometimes, you have no idea how much I appreciate it 😭🩷

Little doodle of the wolf boy! I decided to draw him with more elven-like ears from now on, due to the Breton's elven ancestry :D

I drew them more human-like at first because I focused a bit too much on the Breton's design in Skyrim and figured they have lost all their elven features over the generations.

However, yesterday I read that their elven features became more human over time but have not vanished, so I wanted Ted to have some of those features as well. Plus, I think he looks even more charming now :]

I was bored so I put all my TES ocs on the map where you can usually find them 😔 Also as a little overview :]

Genuinely most impulsive oc I've created so far 😭 I thought about how much I enjoyed my one Skyrim playthrough where I played as a werewolf and... he just kind of happened... 😔 Also I'm a sucker for characters who are genuinely sweet people but could lose their shit anytime and rip you to pieces.

Anyways, here's Ted :D Your friendly neighborhood farmhand who always smells of hay and dog, and may occasionally disappear at night to 'go fishing'. Right now, that's all you need to know about him :] A profile for him on Toyhouse is on its way! ((I say as I still haven't finished Veloril's profile))

And don't mind the imperial commander... he's there for safety reasons aka. hunting down a particularly dangerous stray 👁👁 (His name is Lorens).

He looks so much different in his ref than in the drawing I'm gonna cry. The drawing is actually how he looks like in my head, it's best to use that one as ref atp 😔

If I have to suffer through the summer heat then my ocs will too, I don't make the rules ✋️🙄🤚 I'm pretty sure Morac does NOT enjoy working at the smithy one bit when there's a heatwave.

Elenya can't complain. As far as I know, Summerset has a warm, mediterranean to subtropical climate, so she'd be pretty much used to it anyways... plus, she's spending most of her time inside the ruins anyways so... she'll be fine 😭

I also wanted to practice some more anatomy stuff, which is pretty much the main reason I drew this 😔 Also I'm trying to overcome my perfectionism and post some more "less-polished" stuff because I don't always feel like rendering... and sometimes it's just rly exhausting 😭

I remembered that I still had this drawing lying around so I finally decided to finish it!! 😔🙏 Tbh I kind of imagined this to be some kind of... follow-up to my other post where I drew them in their formal attire. Imagine they just came back from a feast and are now pretty much drunk as hell 🏃‍♀️

Been talking about this guy for way too long on my Insta story, it's about time I let him out of the cave 😔 I won't go into many details about him yet because his Toyhouse is still under construction, but I can tell you some basic stuff! His name is Veloril and he's a Snow Elf, priest of Auri-El, and a sculptor.

He is living inside a hidden shrine near Haafingar, where he spent millennia restoring it, praying and sculpting statues of Auri-El and those he loved. He walks with a limp because he broke his ankle while he was being chased and it never healed properly, therefore he needs a cane. He also suffers from a severe case of hemeralopia (day blindness) for... certain reasons 👁👁 Which means he can't see during daylight/ in very light areas and is forced to remain in his dimly lit shrine and can only leave it once the sun has set...

I considered giving him clothes with a lighter color palette because I think it would fit his complexion really well, but I feel like that would rather be something he wore in the past, where things were still better. I ultimately decided to give him darker, more muted clothes. I think it represents a kind of "degeneration" and his retreat into the shadows of the shrine, away from the light.

Some parts of his attire were also heavily inspired by the snow elven armor (on purpose 😏) I hope you could tell.

I sometimes really like to think of my TES ocs as NPCs the dragonborn can interact with in the game...

For example, I imagine that after the dragonborn meets Zahkrin, it would start a quest where they'll have to discover a few hidden word walls and a missing artifact Zahkrin has been looking for a really long time.

In the end, dragonborn can decide to give him the powerful artifact and gets another powerful item (or maybe gain Zahkrin as a follower?) in return. If dragonborn decides to keep it, Zahkrin will become hostile and attack. Idk something like that haha.

For my Snow Elf I had a more peaceful quest in mind. Since he doesn't know what happened to his kind, the quest might include helping him to catch up with everything that happened? Yk like a more lore-heavy quest. Dragonborn would probably get an item in return because I don't see Veloril walk around freely after everything 😭

This was part of a collab I did with two other friends on Insta 👀 I put some thought into the whole composition so I thought I just share them here.

I thought of this as some kind of representation of how Elenya's life is getting better ever since she moved to Whiterun, yet she is still occasionally haunted by her past, may it be through memories, dreams or simply seeing the Thalmor walk around.

On the left we have people such as Morac and Valie who both welcomed her into their lives (despite initial tensions) and mark this new, healthier life stage for her. Morac is cradling her face since he is also kind of an emotional staple for her and he's the first she feels genuine love towards. Valie is sort of reaching up to her as she is the one who really looks up to Elenya and with her, Elenya finds another purpose than just being the healer/ necromancer she always has been, and that is being a role model and teacher.

On the right we have those from her past who still haunt her memories (and they also grab her a little more forcefully). The one on top is supposed to represent the Thalmor as an organization and how they used to distort her reality and view. The one on the bottom is kind of representative of the sheer influence the dominion still has (military wise), even in Skyrim where she sought refuge. The one on her throat is her ex-husband 👀 He is representing the sheer pressure of her familie's expectations and the way they treated her more like a trophy, rather than a person. They (literally) had her by the throat.

I need to tell someone about the funniest thing that happened to me with a bug in Skyrim once. I literally can't get it out of my head.

So, during the Companions questline, when Kodlak has his funeral, I always get a bit emotional because I genuinely liked him (especially after reading his diary). Anyways, the funeral happened and I felt a bit sad but just went on with the game as one does.

A few in-game days later (I already felt fine again) I was walking around and talked to an NPC. As we talked, Kodlak's model (mind you, without any clothes on) LEVITATED past us in the background in a T-pose. I watched him levitate over a bridge and into a mountain and then he was gone forever.

It was so fucking funny but unfortunately I'll never be able to take his death serious anymore because I'm always scared he might come T-posing at me again after everything.
