He had gently snatched the camera from Prompto’s grip, and it felt good - how he could let his finger linger upon his without it being out of place, how the automatic reaction was a discreet smile instead of a small jump like it burnt.Noctis took a few steps back, bringing the device in front of his face. He was clearly bad at taking pictures (he was better at posing), but that didn’t stop him to try and get a nice angle of his friend upper body.A little later, as the mood was getting sleepy in the hotel room, Noctis lazily made his way to their bed. He ignored the creaking sound the mattress made as he sat down and nudged Prompto’s shoulder with his. His arm felt fresh against his, and he stayed there, yawning a little. « Show me the pictures you took today. »He had forgotten about that one until he saw it again, and made Prompto’s fingers stop from pressing the buttons by placing a hand on his forearm. It wasn’t blurry albeit a bit tilted, and Prompto wasn’t blinking - but his eyes were squinted, only a hint of a blue tinge, for how bright his smile was. Hell, he was even more radiant than the sunlight illuminating his face and the golden strands of his hair - a competition he was easily winning.

A few seconds passed until Noctis spoke again, eyes never leaving the screen. « You look really good in this one. Can you- send it to me? » It was definitely going to be his new contact picture.

I understand that this is not coming from nowhere and that people have been hurt by other people. But that’s only an explanation. Not an excuse.I’m not talking about reacting to oppression in any shape or form, I’m talking about saying dumb things. But when I hear/see stuff like “that’s sooooo neurotypical” in a very, very condescending tone, it just makes me want to rip my hair off.You can’t just use your disabilities (and everything else) to explain your attitude, because as they influence your daily life, they’re not a character trait. It’s only your personality showing when you do this. Sorry. It’s like you pass in front of everyone in the waiting line at the groceries, people tell you not to do that because it’s rude, and you answer “yeah but I’m gay I’m oppressed so I’m taking it right back at you all, people I don’t know”. (It’s an image.) It’s absurd.And not only it is rude af, but it also invalidates the people with the same issues than you, who are addressing them in a good way and fighting with the good weapons (as it should be done because these issues need to be addressed). A lot of people are struggling. Acting like a brat is a very efficient way to throw everything by the window.If you’re full of hate and sadness, that’s fine and understandable but please address it in a smart and civilized way without being a dick.gdi
